We really enjoyed the six evening break from our busy lives. Bobbejaankrans is a special place with everything you need to relax. We saw wildlife every day, giraffes, springboks, ibex and kudus. Looking forward to going back.
The description to find the house must be improved. But being lost was a great game drive! The house itself is beautifully located with far views! The newly built shade area at the pool is amazing! If you fill the pool (you really should) the water is really warm because of the sun, and you can enjoy sunset with a drink in the warm water. We saw all giraffes by a short game drive (OK, that was luck). The Wi-Fi was excellent and the owners always reachable by WhatsApp! All in all, a great stay. Be aware of hidden plastic snakes.
We had a great stay, beautiful location and the most wonderful stars at night.
The place was very nice but there were a few negatives: 1. There was no electric kettle so I had to boil water on the stove. 2. There were three matches in the only matchbox I could find, and no other form of firelighter. Luckily I had my own matches! 3. There appeared to be a wireless router but no WiFi password (or details thereof) were provided. 4. Several goons worked on a nearby building site (the house immediately next door, just over the hill) until about 7 pm. The noise of their yelling, banging with a hammer and using an angle grinder destroyed the ambiance at sunset.

The house is very comfortable and well equipped and the location unbeatable. The porch areas in front and behind the house ensure a comfortable place to visit at different times of the day. The children could ride their bikes alone in the reserve and thoroughly enjoyed the splash pool. We walked far and saw a variety of wild animals in the reserve, including giraffes, zebras, moose, kudus, wildebeest and ostriches.
Good location and the silence and nature are breathtaking.

Lovely weekend, peaceful weekend, we really enjoyed the nature and silence. Maybe just mention a future to guests that a car is not ideal for the road to Bobbejaankrans.
We enjoyed the stay very much. The house was well equipped with everything you need. Every evening we sat by the barbecue and looked out over the plain. We would love to visit again.
A quiet, clean cottage set in a beautiful location on the reserve. Beautiful stars at night. Lovely general game viewing and just a stunning place to relax and unwind.
I would expect a lot more for the price we paid. Not happy at all and would not recommend this specific property to anyone.

Please note that there is a gravel road 1 km leading to the property, high clearance vehicles are recommended, however, it is accessible with a normal vehicle at an appropriate speed. Guests are required to enquire about the condition of the road, before arrival, as it could be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.The splash pool is filled with beautiful clear water from a nearby underground spring. Guests can fill the pool themselves when they arrive, and let the water out again when they leave, ensuring clean, pure, uncontaminated water.
