"Awesome place."

Very friendly hosts, beautiful place. If you are looking for a place just to get away from the busy city life, this is the place to go. We really enjoyed the weekend, the tranquility, and the peaceful atmosphere.

It's a nice and comfortable little place. The house is fairly wheelchair accessible once inside, although you are going to need a little help up the low step at the back of the house. If you need full wheelchair access to the shower and toilet, then this won't work for you. The host is amazing and the area is very quiet and peaceful. We loved it.

Charmaine is a charming hostess and nothing was too much trouble! We were three women travelling together and felt very comfortable and safe at Bodhi's Beach House. Although the house is not completely fenced (newly built) there are security beams in the garden. There is an uninterrupted view of the greenbelt from the front porch which is so peaceful. This place is so quiet! The house has that very homely feel to it which is always nice. We took an amble to de Kelders Beachfront and enjoyed a delicious breakfast at "On the Rocks". Well worth a long weekend away from the hustle and bustle of city life!

As two older ladies, we had a wonderful and comfortable visit and felt safe. Close to the sea and a short distance from shops in Gansbaai.

Upon arrival, our first thought was the place is pretty clean, but that's where it stopped. There were so many things out of place: the alarm didn't work, the one stove didn't work, some of the plugs didn't have protection. no, the one room does not have a main light, the shower door is broken and the tiles in the bathroom are falling off, the ceiling in the living area is half painted, there is only sand and dust around the house not at all child friendly, the washing machine is standing broke half way outside and tripped the power, the sliding door is broken and keeps falling out - not safe at all, there is no drying rack and the sink is leaking in the kitchen, there is a big open hole behind the toilet in the bathroom and when it rains the floor is wet, the carpet in the living area is disgustingly dirty and we already mentioned on day 2 that the TV's sound doesn't work, but no effort was made to help us. On the old and we had to control the TV with an app from our phone. We feel robbed of our money and a nice December holiday. The question sometimes came up — is there a water or electricity certificate for the place? I feel the landlords wanted to make a quick buck and could have finished the place before they got tenants.
