The uncle and aunt are very pleasant, friendly people. It's a beautiful old house with a lot of character. Awesome bath, even though it's a shared bathroom.

The guest house is centrally located and within walking distance of the beautiful Prins Albert Hotel where there was WiFi services and where we enjoyed most of our meals. We will stay there again next time.

The service was professional and you felt at home immediately. The property is clean and the gardens well maintained. I will recommend them and definitely go there again. Honestly value for your money. They went the extra mile for us.

We walked into Bougain Villa as booked guests, but we walked out as lifelong friends! An incredibly wonderful experience. Esme and John, you have become lifelong friends.
I was only there one night, I must say they are very hospitable and you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. Slept very well, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Rooms very neat. Will definitely use their hospitality again.

This was my second visit to Bougain Villa and I will definitely go again. John and Esmé are friendly, hospitable and sociable. The guest house is beautiful and rooms very comfortable. I find everything there that I'm looking for when I'm not at home.
We were very impressed with John and Esme's kindness, hospitality and helpfulness. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They treat you like family. The room is wonderfully spacious and clean. The morning biscuit was an unexpected little treat.
Wonderful hospitality from Esme and John, almost felt like I was visiting family. Would appreciate knowing in advance that outstanding balance must be paid in cash, but at least was able to do EFT without any problems.
The room is wonderfully spacious, clean and tidy with all the necessary accessories and it is clearly cleaned every day, even on Christmas Day. Esmé and John are beautiful, hospitable people with open hearts for their guests. Thank you very much for the nice chats. The guest house itself is beautiful with the flowers on the walls and the garden is wonderfully cool and well cared for, despite the drought. I will definitely go again!
When we arrived in Prins Albert the town had already been without electricity for 3 days. John and Esme really went out of their way to make it as comfortable as possible for us. We spent such a nice time together under the shade of the trees. Made new friends, will definitely go back there.
We were kindly welcomed. The rooms were spacious and tidy. Helpful staff. Very good experience.
The place is clean, but smells stuffy and damp. The windows are clearly never opened. It is way too expensive. We paid the same price and Beacon Isle and didn't get nearly the same value.
