9 guests' feedbackBrandberg is functional and has everything that you need for a rest camp. Travellers exploring Uis and the surrounding areas may want to consider the tented options or available rooms as the rest camp is fairly priced.
We had a nice stay and were able to have a nice barbecue. All complaint was that our and our friends' houses were not next to each other.
Very noisy place. Motorcycles roaring at 10 o'clock in the evening and the guests next to us sat drinking and making noise until 2 o'clock in the morning. No one came to silence them.
The atmosphere is very relaxed where you can just chill. A nice place for a stopover.
The accommodation was neat and clean. The rooms area spacious and there is braai facilities.
Lovely overnight stop and perfect location to explore the Brandberg area.
The stay was pleasant although the reservation had to be argued and argued about again. We have booked a cottage that could accommodate a family of 4 adults with a full kitchen. When we arrived we were only given 2 tents with 2 beds each. No kitchen facilities or anything else. Upon further enquiry, it was said that we would have to pay an extra R400 for accommodation if we wanted a cottage.
The public bathrooms aren't very neat. The so-called luxury tents are small and really nothing special (unless you compare it to a one-man's tent). Lovely location for further travels.
