We received a very friendly welcome, it's really very beautiful and the sea that talks to you all the time makes you recharge and forget about everything. There is everything you need, really very good value for an unforgettable break.
Very weak reception, and wild animals still visible in area.
It's lovely to walk in after a long walk in a clean environment that looks out right on the sea. Neat apartment that makes you feel at home. A sea symphony that lulls you to sleep. Everything you need, well equipped with a lovely veranda for morning coffee and a braai for dinner. Lots of space and well organized for load shedding times. Breakerview offers so much more than the photos tell. Unspoilt sea experience (where Karoo and the sea merge at Danna Bay) but close to loads of things to do and experience. Wonderful hosts who really care and a place to rest, and leave you better than you arrived. Thank you for an amazing sea stay holiday at Breakerview, we couldn't ask for more.

The unit is very neat and very well located. However, the beach in Dana Bay is not really suitable for swimming, but Mossel Bay and Hartenbos are around the corner. Very peaceful place and would definitely recommend it. However, there is no covered parking available as mentioned in the description.
Very spacious apartment. More than enough room for us. Nice quiet and safe area. We were warmly welcomed by the owners and again dismissed by them too. During loadshedding, everything still works including the WiFi, which was very convenient for us. Will definitely stay here again in the future and can recommend it to anyone else. For this pocket-sized price, we got more than we expected. You will see us again soon.
I would recommend the place with the utmost ease. Most beautiful view, cleanest place and excellent customer service. We didn't even know about loadshedding, it was so convenient. The name says it all. The best patio to see and smell the ocean! Lots of dolphins and whales seen, bring binoculars! We wrote this while we were still on site five stars don't do the place "justice". Fully equipped to meet all needs. Easy access click. The guinea fowls chat nicely in the evening and the forest goats say hello every day at coffee or cocktail time. My teenage daughter, myself and a friend stayed there for a weekend. The hostess was amazing and very helpful. We felt safe and the apartment was nice and spacious. Only the shower door wouldn't close tightly (and too afraid we might break the glass to force it). We even saw baby goats in the garden and the TV was nice and big and the bedding and towels were great. Everything you need was available.
190 degree ocean view. Absolutely stunning.
We were welcomed by a group of ibex even before the owner came to welcome us kindly. During the day the dolphins come to greet you on the porch and if you are lucky you see the whales traveling by. Clean, tidy and safe beaches are within walking distance of the accommodation.

We stayed for 3 nights but could have stayed longer as this property felt like a "home away from home". The views are absolutely amazing, the property is next to a green belt which is a haven for little bos bokkies and we were fortunate enough to see them. The host Chris is a gem. The property is well equipped, right down to an iron and ironing board and washing machine. Having been in the hospitality industry myself for years, I can really confidently recommend Breaker View.

Christiaan is a wonderful host and went out of his way to make our stay great. The apartment is well equipped and has a beautiful location and view. Divers pass right by the house and can be watched from the kitchen window. You can walk to the beach in 5 minutes and enjoy a beautiful beach that is wonderfully quiet. Beautiful, well appointed unit. Fairly comfortable furniture. Extremely comfortable beds. The view over the bay is indescribably beautiful with stunning waves breaking and hundreds of dolphins playing in the waves. There was even a whale in the bay one morning. WiFi during load shedding was very welcome as mobile data is not available during load shedding. Marlene was very helpful and lovely to talk to. We had to say goodbye with a heavy heart and will definitely want to go back again in the future.

The fact that the bathroom is in the room with no ventilation can become uncomfortable. Otherwise we had a nice stay.
Would advise that it is perfect just to sleep over for a few nights. Don't expect anything more. It's not a hotel.
We were quickly given the key and told to speak if we needed anything. The car had to be parked just in front of the garage. WiFi password was not given to us. And terrible uphill and downhill, and to get to the beach itself we had to drive quite a distance. And in the early morning there was no hot water to shower.
It is the perfect getaway if you want to go and rest and have a peaceful holiday. We had a marvellous time. Cant wait to visit again.

Double bed not comfortable at all. Kitchenware is very little, can definitely be supplemented. Shower leaking. Concertina door in bathroom cannot close. Very little dish soap, even though we only booked 3 days it was too little. According to booking, shampoo and shower gel, salt and pepper are provided, there were none. The braai not in good condition. No mop to clean the floors.

Baie dankie aan oom Chris wat ons so welkom laat voel het van dag 1 af. Dankie dat julle ons kon akkomodeer in die gendeltyd met die opening van ons besigheid in Mosselbaai. Die woonstel is baie gerieflik met alles wat mens nodig het. Die see-uitsig is ongelooflik! Ons sal Breaker View nooit vergeet nie. Danabaai bly die mooiste plek vir ons in SA. Although parking is outside in front of the house, we were not the least bit concerned about the safety of our vehicle as this area is so peaceful and quiet. Being situated on the mountain slope overlooking the ocean makes it even more breathtaking. We enjoyed the balcony which caters for braai as well. The apartment squeaky clean and very modern and fulfilled all our self-catering needs. What stood out for me was the fridge that was so clean as well as the hairdryer that is available for our beautiful ladies that like their hair to look good (although I never made use of it because we swam for the entire 2 days we were there). Everything in the place was clean and fresh. We enjoyed our breakfast in the kitchen with a spectacular view of the ocean, so a real ocean breakfast I call it. A real home away from home, Breaker View we will definitely see you again. All the best and may many families enjoy their stay as much as we did.
We had a lovely stay in Breakerview. The spacious apartment has all the facilities we needed: washing machine, TV with all the DStv channels and WiFi. It's modern with neat, clean linen. We would recommend it for sure. Best value for money.

We experienced a very pleasant 3 day stay due to the good care of the owner. The apartment is very spacious, modern and has a fantastic view of the sea. The stairs to the apartment are manageable for non-disabled persons. Although the car had to be parked outside, there is no safety risk.
Waking up with the sound of the ocean and the quietness of nature is peaceful to the soul.
