Overlooking the river, the eco-friendly pods are tastefully furnished with a king-size bed that can be converted into twin beds on request and has an en-suite bathroom with a large bath, basin, and toilet, as well as an outdoor shower. Crisp linen and towels are provided.
Each pod has a kitchen that is fully equipped, as well as a lounge area, and opens onto a private patio with a built-in braai area, and a wood-fired hot tub.

This weekend was really special. They really thought of everything. The ecopods are so beautiful, neat and the decor is excellent. The little things like the QR codes you can scan to see how to change the gas bottle or even start a fire. Good quality equipment. Tranquility with the chickens that come pecking at the door to the most beautiful view over the pond to see the wildlife that is there and how happy they are. Our game drive was very nice and so was the breakfast. We ordered a smores box and it was delicious. It's just a really special place to stay.
There was absolutely nothing I can fault about our weekend away! What a treat and a really great find. It was everything promised and so much more!
We loved every part of our stay, the canoes, fishing in the dam, the pool, the food and the braai area. Best part was watching the rhino from our patio. Super comfortable and well stocked unit.

Lovely getaway with farm children! Second time we come, it was our first in ecocabin 7, everything you need.
We enjoyed it very much.
The only feedback we will give is that the shower in Eko-Pod 4 leaks terribly and the wooden floorboards are loose. This means that you cannot open the door when you have showered and therefore you have to wait for all the water to run out. We would also only suggest that extra towels be made available as towels stay wet and there is no hanging space available to dry them. Other than that, everything is 10/10 and we will come again for sure.

Nice location. Unfortunately, I could not entirely relax and enjoy the scenery due to the quite large amount of spiders everywhere, our cabin has a "looks dead" tree right in front of it where the jacuzzi is, this tree is covered by spiders, all day and night. There were multiple spiders of various kinds in the canoe. There were spiders in the cabin as well. I appreciate eco-friendly and minding nature, however, this was too much. Everywhere are social media posters and storage items that take up the little space you have in your cabin. We were overcharged as well. Poor admin. Lovely white rhinos! We were not able to fish from the side of the dam as it was fenced off, the spider canoes were the only fishing option - yikes.
We enjoyed a lovely weekend at Buff and Fellow Eco Cabins and can absolutely recommend them. A highlight was being able to watch the rhinos, buffalo and other animals right from your front porch. The accommodation is comfortable, with the nice large veranda a plus point, and the farm environment is very beautiful. We would definitely like to stay there again.

Customer service very unobtrusive, but perfectly organized. Wood provided was a great extra, but was a bit wet. But not criticism!
No privacy or silence with builders all around unit from early to late, without owner communicating this in advance. Units definitely need repairs. Don't understand why this isn't done during quieter times outside of holidays.
The coconut 6 is absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be back soon.

Traffic noise early morning was surprisingly loud from the outside roads as you really feel like you're far away from anything. Apart from that, everything was wonderful and the cabins are amazing and tastefully decorated. Lots of lovely personal touches and it really is very spacious and comfortable for 2 couples. We had a lovely time and felt 1 night was not enough. Will be back if in George again.
Worth visiting.
Needs attention regarding repairs and maintenance. Floors are falling apart, the area that goes into the shower has drawn moisture. Housekeeping is poor, bath taps are dirty and full of soap marks, fans are very dusty and full of cobwebs.
Heaven on earth. The devil is in the detail, and this place has hit every fine detail on its head. The view, the outdoor shower, the porch, kitchen, bedroom and square simply everything was perfect. My heart longs for our time there.
Buff and Fellow cabins made for a lovely pampering weekend. The cabins are aesthetically unbeatable, with everything you need. The hot tub was a great treat, and the fantastic porch and barbecue area with a beautiful view of the pond created a wonderful atmosphere where we could relax and visit. The cabins are very private, and a perfect place for an evening or two's getaway.

Only four units on a quiet farm with buffalo and other animals. Units have hot tubs overlooking a dam. Great place to recharge the batteries for a few days. It’s a farm though, so expect some dust and cobwebs.
Buff and Fellow is the most wonderful place for any nature lover. The animals walk up to the cabins and the atmosphere is incredible. The woodfire-operated splash pool is an experience!

Frikkie thought of every possible detail when designing the wooden houses. Als is available. Very neat, clean and modern. We will definitely go again. It was really indescribably beautiful and delicious.
The place and value for money and hospitality are not words. The Eco Cabins have everything you need and thanks to Frikkie them for the beautiful place. We can really recommend it for families or just a getaway from the city. So a place where you can turn off and really rest.
