Restaurant superb - reservations needed as it gets busy. Consider adding KykNet to the DStv bouquet and a room freshener/room spray.

It's a child-friendly, very neat and peaceful place to stay. Spacious rooms and bathrooms make it a pleasure to stay there. The environment is peaceful and already puts you in a relaxed mood. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pleasant atmosphere in restaurant area, also for children.
What an amazing stay. The staff are extremely friendly, especially the manager Rufus. The food is out of this world. Chef Adrian surely knows what he is doing. We felt like absolute royalty.

From the time we arrived there until we went back home after 5 days, just felt at home. It feels like a luxury home in the bush, the service was extremely professional. The chef treated us to crocodile, Amarula creme brûlée and homemade scones. The lights in the evening create an incredible atmosphere with fires burning and the stars visible from the pool. We really enjoyed our honeymoon as it is 1 min drive from the Phalaborwa gate. We booked a game drive and we were able to take the most beautiful photos of the Kruger Park's natural beauty.

It is a good place to stop on the way in or out of the KNP. It is not really a 4-star hotel, you have to drag your own luggage through the car park to reception, so do remember your wheels on your suitcases. The room we had was fine, not 4-star, no chairs to sit on, WiFi was super after none in the park. Dinner they tried hard, but had a limited menu, am sure they could do better. Wife loved the steak, but I was looking for something special! We left early the next day and missed breakfast so they gave us a packed breakfast, full marks for that. May stay there again, but hope the menu is improved.

We were received very kindly by the receptionist and we were given a choice to choose a room. She accompanied us there. It made us feel very welcome and at home. We also had dinner. The service was quick and friendly and the portions very generous and tasty. Breakfast was also top notch. Our trailer, with luggage for a week, was parked in front of the hotel, and was very safe. We will spend the night there again. Very convenient as an overnight stop before a visit to the wildlife park.
The hotel is truly luxurious with lots of space in room. The balcony overlooking a piece of lowland is a comfort when you have just come from the wildlife park. The price has increased significantly over the last year, but it still remains a hit.
Rooms were nice but the beds are "cheap" pushed together single beds that make you roll around a lot at night. Expected much more for the money we paid. All advantage is that it is close to the gate of Kruger.

Good location close to the Kruger. Convenient if you need to do business in town and in the area. Limited restaurants, but the restaurant at this hotel is good. As usual waiters in the country aren't trained properly.

A 4 star boutique hotel...toilet leaks in bathroom so the water runs on the floor, no help with your luggage you just have to see for yourself and get it done, we expected more for the price.
The place is tranquil with a swiiming pool to cool off in hot days. The proximity to the Kruger gate is awesome as wildlife noises are heard through the night.

Right next to Phalaborwa Gate and they made us a delicious takeaway breakfast because we wanted to go into the Kruger Park so early. The accommodation is beautiful and spotless. We were at Bushveld Terrace Hotel for a weekend with our 8 month old baby. The rooms were very clean, tidy and modern. Nice view of the forest. Within 200 m from the Kruger Wildlife Park's gate. Breakfast was included and was big and delicious, DStv channels are a good combination which included SuperSport. I would definitely recommend them.
Bushveld Terrace Hotel can definitely be recommended. We stayed in the guest house. The suites are spacious, nice, well equipped and have nice views. Breakfast was delicious! Reception was professional and friendly. Excellent location for daytrips to the game reserve. Beautiful relaxing veranda with a spotless swimming pool. Dinners at the restaurant was top notch. Very well situated, easy access to the Kruger National Park. Excellent rooms, neat, tidy, spacious and comfortable. Excellent food at the restaurant and lovely atmosphere. Excellent referral!
There was help when we arrived to take in luggage. Early in the morning the cleaner already had to clean the courtyard so that we could enjoy breakfast there. Everyone was very friendly and the meals were excellent.

Very nice and well laid out. The food was definitely worth the star award and we really enjoyed it. The honesty bar at the guest house closes just too early, 16:00, if you just wanted to relax at the guest house and enjoy the bushveld evenings. The location of the site makes it the perfect destination for a Kruger break, should you not be able to manage within the park. Definitely recommend.
There could be better communication regarding accommodation options. Other than that, everything was very satisfactory.

We had a bit of a problem at Bushveld Terrace. We paid our deposit, but according to the hotel, a smaller amount was transferred than shown on our end. We were able to give them our booking document from LekkeSlaap and they did accept it. The hotel was beautiful and the restaurant very good. We didn't realize that there was a hotel and a guest house. The room we booked was not a hotel room, but in the guest house which is a few hundred meters away. The room is nice and the breakfast at the guest house very good. The guest house may not be visited that often and there were 3 spiders in the room, one of which was a novel that ended up in my husband's clothes! We would love to visit the hotel again, but I would rather avoid the guest house!
