The good quality linen, glasses and coffee mugs were a big plus. It was one of our most unique stay experiences. The owners have a passion for what they do. It was an incredible experience, to sleep on a train with a very beautiful view of nature. Jackals' hear and of course farm animals. The hostess receives you kindly and proudly shows the beautiful train that has been so beautifully preserved in its original form.

It was a lovely and interesting overnight stay. The hostess was friendly and looked after our every need. We really enjoyed sleeping in an authentic train car again, because as youngsters we traveled a lot by train. Wonderful memories! The wagon has been carefully renovated and furnished with all modern conveniences.

Incredible experience, so bitterly unique. Very nice place and had to take a lot of photos to show everyone. Only one does not suggest criticism. We got there quite late and had to go find something to eat. I felt very bad for bothering to enter the premises so late at night. Possible solution is a gate with a code, because I know guests sometimes drive away with a remote. Only a suggestion. Very nice stay.

We had a lovely two-night stay in this quaint accommodation concept. Host Deon is very affable and approachable, and added to our enjoyment by taking us on a sightseeing trip around his farm. We appreciated the air-conditioning, more so because this was solar powered. A note if you are two couples travelling together - there's not much privacy, so know each other well enough to be comfortable with that.

Wonderful accommodation with excellent owners. The train is original, yet luxurious.
This is a special place, an old rail carriage (ex Drakensberg) has been converted into accommodation. It has 2 compartments with a double bed in each, a spacious sitting and eating area, a toilet, and a separate shower. Both sleeping compartments have a small sink. All in the original atmosphere of an old-fashioned train carriage. Our stay was very pleasant and quiet. The farm is situated next to the N12, and one can faintly hear the road traffic. For train enthusiasts, the bonus is to possibly hear and see a train go past. We were lucky to have seen the Rovos Rail going by.
It was so peaceful and could really relax around the fire and air. It made the whole train car very cold. Everything was there that we needed. 10 out of 10.
