We had a great stay! The house is spacious, neat and clean and has everything one could need. It is centrally located and you can walk everywhere and there is no need to drive anywhere. Colleen is a gem and welcomed us with open arms. We will definitely visit again!
Great atmosphere next to the ocean, shops around the place.
The unit is very well-situated. It's very close to restaurants, pubs, shopping and Clarke Bay swimming beach. Everything is within walking distance. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. The pool area and front veranda with built-in braai and partial sea views made for some awesome family time. However, the dishwasher wasn't working and we were informed the unit will be serviced. The lady did inform us that she had a personal commitment on Saturday, and we agreed it will be fine. We met her on arrival and never saw her again. Having 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms was nice. Not having a change of bathroom towels during our 4-day stay was not so great. The one bedroom with en-suite is only accessible via another double bedroom which was not great either. Two rechargeable lamps were made available for loadshedding, 2 for a 5 bedroom / 5 bathroom, and needing to cook was not helping. We had to buy candles to provide light during loadshedding. You are in the business to accommodate people, loadshedding has been with us since 2008. Then the last point, there is a need for some basic maintenance on the unit. And if these are not addressed now it could become a lot worse and even more expensive to fix later. The outside furniture is also in need of some TLC. Overall a good time was had by all, small little things could have made it a much better experience. Honestly, I expected a bit more for the price range.
