I really had a beautiful stay at Casa Uvongo Vakansie Akkommodasie, a peaceful and restful place to be. The sea view is so calming, and the place is absolutely neat and clean. Also, the pool is kept very clean and ready to use at any given time.

Comfortable accommodation very close to the beach. Everything you are looking for in accommodation by the sea. I really enjoyed it even though I was there for work. I only wish there had been at least a little coffee and tea and milk when I arrived. Furthermore, als was 100%.

There are signs of rising damp on the south wall of the master bedroom. It seems to be the result of a large crack in the outside wall. There should be a fire extinguisher on the landing between units 209 and 210 (every other floor has one). There are broken tiles on the balcony. They seem to have lifted up probably due to water. The uplift seems to have cracked the glass panes of the balustrade. There is a large, pronounced crack in the one support column on the balcony. Possibly this is due to the expansion of the metal balustrade allowing water to enter into the column. The rivets on the metal balustrade are rusting, leaving stains. The toilet makes a loud wheezing sound as the cistern refills. One of the fluorescent lights in the kitchen was malfunctioning. Presenting a seizure hazard to epileptics. I suspect the initiator needs replacing. One of the window handles in the master bedroom is missing. I noted on closer inspection it may have broken off. Seeing that I gently tried to open another window but there was immediate resistance. I suspect the handles are rusted shut. I did not test any of the other window handles. There is a loose tile (which makes a hollow sound when standing on it) in the passage between the bathroom and shower. The owner was very helpful and approachable. I suggest though that he leave some useful notes (such as the ones on certain doors marked 'owner's use') instructing guests how to use the dishwasher and about the non-functional oven. (The owner warned me orally about the oven but I didn't know which one it was). Finally, I was not used to hiring accommodation (usually used family's) so was unaware that I needed to bring certain supplies such as towels, toilet paper etc. Perhaps guests be reminded to bring such supplies.

We had a lovely stay with the soothing sound of the ocean through the night which was very relaxing. Regular walks on the beach right across the road, with the main beach a stone's throw away. Recommend to anyone, definitely going back again myself.

Apartment is well equipped, living room and master bedroom have sliding doors leading to balcony. Sea view from living room, master bedroom and balcony. Only a street width from the sea. The street stretches from Uvongo Beach to Manaba Beach and therefore provides the opportunity to take a 2 km walk in the street all along the sea.

Had a wonderful stay, was warned in time about water shortages. Would recommend having a security gate fitted to the door as you enter. Feels slightly unsafe as the door is not up to standard. Will definitely stay there again if security gate is fitted.

Had a really nice stay. The view is incredibly beautiful. The rooms are nice and big, clean and tidy. All three rooms also have a sea view. Would recommend this place to anyone. The shower is just in a funny place because it forms part of the corridor. But otherwise it's an excellent place to stay.

Nice stay, beautiful view and nice street to go for long walks. The shower is directly in the hallway which will be a bit of a challenge if the children are together. The toilet's flushing mechanism needs some attention.
