Lovely house and location. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Friendly service and delicious breakfast. There are comfortable chairs on the veranda where you can lazily hide and read, or watch who and what passes in the street. The only "downside" is that the house, with all its lovely plank floors, is very creaky, so bring earplugs if you want to sleep late.
Wonderfully hospitable and comfortable accommodation within walking distance of attractions in the beautiful Franschhoek. Nice pampering breakfast is a big bonus. We would love to visit here again.

Would have preferred to sleep in the lower rooms as the stairs up to the upper rooms which are all "loft rooms" are not easy to climb up with a suitcase and the upper rooms are quite cold.

Movement of guests in the attic can sometimes be a problem, if you sleep in the lower room.

Centre-Ville is a beautiful, central getaway; neat and clean accommodation. Breakfast was delicious and the hostess very helpful. The pitched roof of our attic room bothered me, my suggestion would be to book a ground floor room. No Wi-Fi.

Conveniently located to walk to town. However street can get quite busy, which could be disturbing. Wooden floors also result in one hearing movement upstairs.

A quiet town with a lot of history.
It's a beautiful, characterful old house, very neatly restored, full of old (antique) furniture - actually a historic place. The rooms are very nicely furnished and well equipped. The Naudes are wonderful owners with lots of information. The breakfast in the garden under the tree was delicious.
We had a wonderful stay at Centre-Ville Guest House. Elsa was very friendly and helpful. The room was very neat and clean and Elsa offered to move us to a bigger room if we wanted. Breakfast was delicious and we will definitely stay there again.

A beautiful turn of the century guesthouse located only a block from the main street that has all the restaurants and cafés. Retains its old world charm downstairs while combining newer decor upstairs. All wrapped up with modern day hospitality, friendly staff and attention to detail.
Our room was not up to 4 star standard. The TV is not visible to the 2nd person on the bed. No place for sitting at a table to blow dry hair. I feel the room should be cheaper than the other rooms.
The rooms are very neat and clean, nice big rooms. The service is great and the breakfast is very very tasty. Get that real old farm house feel, just want to stay there.

What a lovely way to experience Franschhoek. The b&b is the most beautiful one I ever stayed in. The owners, the staff everybody there makes you feel right at home. The rooms are very well looked after. It is an older building so you do hear some wood cracking every now and then but that is all part of the charm. For me this makes the whole experience of Franschhoek complete. The breakfast table was so beautiful and everything was there from fresh juice to bacon and eggs. I will come back here with out a doubt.
The owners, reception, as well as cleaning staff are very friendly and hospitable. The breakfast was of the highest quality and it was wonderful to be able to eat in the garden under shade trees. We were originally booked for the 7th of August, and had to cancel the booking at short notice as my husband was admitted to hospital. The owner was very considerate and gave us the opportunity to change the reservation to the 12th of January. The location is very central and we could walk where we wanted to be.
We were received very kindly and soon felt at home with the owners, Jaco and Elsa. The rooms are neat and well equipped and comfortable although they are set up in the attic and therefore have a limited view. The breakfast was delicious and was served on a particularly nicely set table with antique cutlery. The parking lot is across the street but well lit, although not locked.

A piece of antiquity mixed with French influence and a host and hostess who assist you with information, you have a winning recipe for a pleasant stay. The peacefulness of the staff, the beautiful scenery, all within walking distance making it the perfect place to rest for a few days. Break away for a mini holiday and stay at Centre-Ville. Wonderful host and very nice staff. Excellent breakfast! Tip for if you want to go for a hike with panoramic views: At end of Reservoir street the is a nature reserve. Take 'Cats se pad' and walk for two (up and down), or more hours.
