In winter it is not too cold and the long summer days are never unbearably hot. The West Coast National Park is worth a visit to see the variety of flora and fauna which this unique eco-system has to offer and the ecological history of Langebaan can be viewed at the West Coast Fossil Park.

This was a really lovely, well-maintained and tastefully furnished, and decorated home and perfect for our 9-day stay. The apartment was more than described in the advert. Clean, safe location and very spacious. A few minutes walk to the beach. A massive rooftop to enjoy the sunsets and sundowners was left out of the description - the views were awesome. The bedrooms (2) opened out onto a very spacious balcony - enjoyed my morning coffee there. Great check-in and check-out experience. Our hosts were very helpful. We loved the home and the location - close to shops and supermarkets and restaurants (CTFM, Dockside, etc.). An excellent location to explore Paternoster and St Helena Bay and the West Coast. The coffee machine did not work and we had to go out and buy a hairdryer as the previous guest left with the hairdryer. Would love to come back. Thank you Nita and Mandie for a most memorable stay. Charis to Theo is a complete house with excellent facilities and we enjoyed it very much. Thank you Nita. We might come back next year, if there are less dogs. They barked almost all day and they came on our barbecue terrace. It sometimes disturbed a lot. Of course, it's not the host's fault, but it just happened.
Charis to Theo is a fully equipped house with excellent facilities. And Nita, as a host, is a darling.
We had a wonderful stay at Charis to Theo. House is well appointed and comfortable with fantastic views. The service is excellent. Everything was great and we will definitely come again. Only suggestion to owners of the holiday home is that they should pack away their personal photos, you feel as if you are entering someone else's space. A holiday home should give a neutral feeling when you live there. Other than that, everything was great.
It was said that the wind had blown fiercely the day before, but precautions could be taken to sweep and dust again. The doors when you opened them were full of grass and cobwebs. The one chair in the room's upholstery was broken, the grill does not work, the outside chairs, except one, are broken. The small trash can is broken in the kitchen. I am letting you know about this so that it can be fixed for the following persons. Nita's service was also very good. I've bothered her enough about the TV which has caused a lot of problems.
