7 guests' feedbackI had a perfect stay at the Colonial Sands, the unit was clean and not difficult to find, and the view was perfect.

Walk through dirty lagoon to get to the beach. Hangout in front of apartment that plays music all the time. Kitchen under water due to blocked fridge and washing machine pipes. Will not return again. Spent six days in the apartment. Lagoon dirt with broken bricks and tree stumps. Not at all the same outside the apartment as the website advertises.
The unit is well equipped. The problems that there were were solved very quickly. The only frustration was the electronic equipment - the remote control's batteries were dead; after replacing it we found that it was not in working order.
The unit is very spacious with a large balcony - sliding doors of two rooms and the dining room leads to the balcony. You can literally see the sea from your bed. The living area is open-plan and you have everything you need in the kitchen. There is secure parking for two vehicles in the basement. The site has 24 hour security and there are cameras everywhere on the premises. You are walking distance from the sea and the shops / restaurants. The beach is safe with lifeguards on hand. I would definitely recommend it.
The unit is spacious, clean and has incredible views of Margate beach. The unit is well equipped with a large fridge and freezer unit, and has all the modern conveniences needed to make for a restful holiday (washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine). We can recommend this unit to other families, and we will not hesitate to book it again should we holiday in the area.
Colonial Sands exceeded my expectations. My unit was very spacious, luxurious, clean and with a beautiful view of the beach and sea from every room. Centrally located, a stone's throw from all shops and on the main beach, yet away from the daily traffic and street noise. The dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer and TVs with DStv channels, and swimming pool on the premises made the stay even more comfortable. The elevator in the building was a big bonus for my elderly mother who was traveling along. Security is excellent, and I could sleep easy knowing that my vehicle was safely within the premises with access control. I've stayed in many places in Margate for holidays, and I have to honestly say that Colonial Sands stands out above the rest. I will definitely book there again for my next holiday. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay and holiday.

All tenants are bound by these conditions upon acceptance of the reserved accommodation, including the right of admission reserved by the company.No keys will be left for collection without the completed preliminary booking form, rule letter, and a copy of the main guest's ID. These documents must be returned to the company at least three days before arrival.
Payment must be made via EFT only.
Full payment is required for last-minute bookings prior to occupation.
No keys will be left for collection if the reservation has not been paid in full. Any after-hour call-out will incur an additional cost charged.
Cancellation policies on online booking portals will apply if applicable.
A breakage deposit is payable and refundable within 30 working days of departure, less any deductions.
Guests must check the inventory upon arrival and report any discrepancies within 12 hours of arrival via WhatsApp. The guests will be responsible for any shortages/breakages or damages incurred if no discrepancies are reported.
Furniture and utensils must not be removed from the unit.
The primary guest accepts liability and responsibility for any shortages/damages or breakages after arrival and will pay for any loss or damage incurred.
Any fines resulting from contravening the Body Corporate's rules will be paid by the guest.
The confirmation of the reservation is deemed as entering into a lease agreement that is legal and binding.
