From pre-arrangements, communication from the owner, Debbie, to my departure, everything was great and anyone would enjoy it. It is definitely more than an overnight facility with everything needed.
We love the place because it's safe, clean, tidy and top customer service by Debbie and her husband who are the owners. Nothing is too much trouble. Good WiFi reception and warm to stay in winter. We will come back again.
As seniors, we do have the following input: leaving a mat in front of the couch is not practical. Would prefer wall mounted shower head for someone who doesn't want to get their hair wet, and wall mounted handle to help with balance.

My daughter and I naturally got lost because the mobile help that just disappeared. Eugene did not hesitate to explain the way to us and even waited for us in front of the place. We were also greeted very warmly the next morning. Besides the comfort of the place, there is also a beautiful outdoor area with a garden and a lovely table and chairs. One feels very spoiled for the privilege of being able to spend the night with this couple. Another thing - here where I live in Bredasdorp, the dogs bark terribly at night. We were amazed at the silence that greeted us there and asked if they were not allowed to keep animals. Well, they have two dogs and ten out of ten for Durbanville's people who discipline their animals. We both live on farms and your dog shouldn't bark there. It could mean your life, because many farmers make the mistake of going out and seeing what's going on. Dangerous! When our dog growls low, we know - radio all the surrounding farmers and everyone comes with their vans and at a given moment everyone switches on the searchlights and then you see how the offenders splash!
Pleasing, clean, spacious and comfortable. Exactly what we were looking for. It has got all you need for overnight stays including locking your car up behind your own gate.

Columbine is a neat and beautifully decorated place with everything you need for a few nights stay. Will definitely stay there in the future. The good lightning and big bath towels and chocolates on our bed was a plus. Unfortunately we could not use the TV-lost signal, probably due to load shedding.
Would recommend that there should be DStv. Not everyone likes Netflix. Variety of channels would be better. Other than that, everything was 100%.

The place is great, attentive hosts, well equipped, extremely clean and up to expectation. The only comment is that the Wi-Fi is very slow and the TV takes a very long time to access any Smart Hub app such as Netflix which ultimately does not run properly due the poor connectivity.
