Each room has its own distinct character, beautifully renovated and decorated to enhance your country experience. The beds and bases are of the finest quality, with white poly cotton percale linen used in all bedrooms. Light yet warm duvets and throw blankets will keep you snug at night. Electric blankets are provided for extra warmth during winter. All bedrooms have fans, heaters, full tea trays with tea, coffee, milk, sugar, homemade rusks and filtered drinking water. All bathrooms have guest amenities including towels, wrapped soap, shampoo and body lotion. Hairdryers and clock-radios are provided.
Self-catering is also available. Comfrey Cottage, with 3 rooms, can be booked as a fully self-catering unit, and Apple 2 has mini self-catering facilities such as a microwave and bar fridge.

Peace of mind was what I experienced. I wish I could stay at Comfrey Cottage Collection for a longer time! The cleanliness and tranquility are amazing. But I wouldn't mind an electric gate, especially when it rains. It's just too much work.

Beautiful self-catering house where we had a lovely stay. Everything we needed and more. Als deliciously clean and fresh. Grant and Gerda were wonderful and friendly hosts and hostesses who made us feel very much at home and the best breakfast ever! Will definitely stay there again if the opportunity presents itself.

We really enjoyed our stay at Comfrey Cottage. What we appreciated most in these times was that the owners take Covid-19 very seriously. They wear masks, sanitize hands and maintain appropriate social distancing whilst being friendly and helpful. This was certainly not the case with some other places we stayed during our recent road trip. Comfrey is established, lovely and a great place to stay in Lady Grey. Highly recommended

We find it very hard to believe that the room has a 4-star grading. Old and dated and needs attention - walls has cracks everywhere. Also the linen is threadbare and the bed was not a queen size as advertised. Kitchenette disappointing. Fridge was not cold and no basin.

Spacious and tidy rooms with large lawns. Alpacas graze around the residential units. The owners make a lot of effort. The breakfast is excellent and don't miss the special porridge.
