The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The house was exactly what we expected and spacious for 6 adults. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Crocodile Kruger Safari Lodge. I would definitely recommend it.
They could probably get a bigger generator because we sat in the dark most of the evening.
We were expecting a comfortable Christmas weekend with our children and their baby from England. The staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, Johan even organized an extra game drive. We will definitely go again.
We ended up not using the 3rd en suite bedroom, because it does not form part of the main house, although directly adjacent to the house. This room would be suited to independent adults, or bigger children. To this end, we opted to have our small children sleep on the sleeper couch inside the house so as to not split up the family. Compliments and thanks to lodge manager, Johan, who expertly and promptly attended to our needs, enquiries and complaints, some of which are mentioned below. Throughout the week we had some electrical glitches and problems with the DSTV service. We also had to request more crockery and cutlery as the kitchen was not adequately equipped for 6 people. Upon checking in, we found wet dishes placed in the cupboards and cutlery not properly cleaned. We had to move beds to make a bedlamp cable reach the power outlet, and found the area behind the beds and at the back of the headboards, to be very dusty. In general, one could say general cleanliness should be improved on to ensure value for money. Overall though, we enjoyed the stay. Thanks to the professional service of the lodge manager, Johan.
Pool was not cleaned either. Will not visit again. Photos on websites are always misleading.
From arrival, we were assisted by the friendly manager, Johan. He was always ready to assist with what you need, as well as information regarding the area and the animals. Even when going for a swim, he and the staff would be ready to offer us towels and drinks. When having a braai, wood was always available and brought to your braai, which was cleaned daily. We will definitely recommend this establishment.
Johan, Innocent and the rest of their team went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable. The lodge is perfectly situated on the river for wildlife viewing and their food is off the books. We will definitely go again.

Thank you very much Johan and staff. We spent a pleasant few days at Crocodile Kruger Safari Lodge. The meals were tasty and tastefully presented. Service was excellent and staff all very friendly. The game drive to the Game Reserve was an experience with Mbeki as a well-trained tour guide.
Johan made us feel very welcomed upon arrival and the whole team is friendly and it feels like you are part of a family. The food was delicious and truly amazing. Thank you for the hospitality and excellent service,

The staff were really very helpful. The place was nicely cleaned every morning. Air conditioning helped a lot with the heat. We had a problem with the oven but otherwise everything was perfect.
The location on the river bank makes breakfast with three elephants on the opposite bank an indescribable experience. Will definitely want to spend time there again. The self-catering unit is equipped with a TV which made a late Saturday afternoon arrival and an important rugby match much easier...
Everything was just perfect from the room to the food and the service. The view is special and we saw lots of game at the river including Hippo, Buffalo and Elephants. While Zebras and Giraffe visited us at the lodge. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend Crocodile Kruger Safari Lodge!

We stayed in a detached house with its own pool and fully equipped kitchen. We still ate every evening in the restaurant of the lodge because the food was so delicious and the atmosphere so pleasant. We came here to rest from our visit to the Kruger Park and we really succeeded! You are fully taken care of here.
Will visit again anytime. Not only is the place incredibly beautiful, but the great service there is something that will make anyone go back again. The dirt road to get there does need attention, but it is also understandable with the rain and short passage of time after that that it will look like this. Thank you all.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The dirt road was full of ditches in some places. Very close to the Wildlife Park.
The trip was awesome and the lodge manager and Albert were great! One improvement suggestion: you guys need a full time bar tender!
We were 5 people in the 3-bedroom lodge. Location is wonderful with spectacular views. More attention to detail will make it even better. There were no hooks (except for the 2 towels) in our bathroom and we were also given only 1 towel each. The norm is a bath towel and facial towel? We were also not aware that we had to bring our own cleaning material as well as mosquito candles, etc. Hooks for jackets and hats will be great! Overall we had a great stay and will definitely go back! The staff were very friendly and we were treated very well. Great overall experience!
