The third bedroom offers 2 single beds and an en-suite with a shower, washbasin, and toilet. Linen and bath towels are provided for convenience. There is a fourth guest bathroom off the lounge fitted with shower, toilet, washbasin and a washing machine. An open air bush shower with an amazing view is also available off the upstairs bedroom. Each bedroom also has big glass doors opening onto a private deck attached, offering each guest a special retreat.
The open-plan living area includes a fully equipped kitchen complete with a stove, air fryer, cutlery, crockery, microwave, fridge, and a breakfast bar with stools. The main lounge area, tastefully decorated with cosy couches, opens onto a wrap-around deck furnished with outdoor seating and dining area with a gas braai, perfect for enjoying sundowners. While the upper deck and lounge offers another beautifully situated place to enjoy a stunning view of the Crocodile River or catching a glimpse of the big five without even leaving the deck.
The eco-friendly holiday home boasts solar water heaters and a back-up generator for any power outages. Guests can relax in the plunge pool or enjoy an outdoor shower. 3 guests' feedbackWe had a great time in the area, the house has amazing views over the river and all the amenities you need. Lots of well appointed bathrooms and the kitchen is perfect. Good WiFi available on all floors and braai area. The "Amazing Kruger View Restaurant" is amazing and a must for sunset drinks and prawns for dinner!
We only stayed 2 nights. Our host was very friendly and helpful. The view is the best of all the places we have stayed in Marloth over the past 25 years. The house has everything that one needs and there are roof fans and AC in the rooms. It was a positive experience and we will most probably return to Croc's Nest in future.
Broken toilet seat, showers and bathroom light. Torn, unironed bedding had to be replaced; sheets still with oil stains. Shower mats were dirty. View obstructed by trees.
