30 guests' feedbackWe had a fantastic family weekend - 10 adults and 9 children aged 6-17. Very nice living area in the main house with a large fireplace and TV and a nice view of the sea. We also used the apartment and the interior door from downstairs to main house made it feel like one big house. Children really enjoyed the tennis table and also had their own space in the apartment's living area for board games. Plenty of sleeping space for all of us too!

Grateful is the perfect getaway for a large group of people. We had a great time and the table tennis and fingerboard were a bonus for the children. The 4 fridges/freezers provided plenty of space for food and drink.
Open and spacious. It is close to the sea but the apartment is too low to see the sea. We had a very nice stay. The apartment is beautiful.
Was a very nice place! Maybe cleaner didn't do such a great job before we came in. Found dead scorpion in pot and fridge was not clean, but nothing serious. Grills were very dirty, just bought my own. Would have been nice to maybe have extra bedding as we booked for 11 nights, but this is just more constructive criticism.
I expected more for the money I paid. There were no tongs. No towels. I had to go shopping. If it's raining, you can't barbecue because you're not allowed to barbecue under the canopy. For a woman to pick up a braai drum from the stoep and get it back up alone is quite difficult.

It's a great place to put your feet up! The beds and bedding are durable which makes for an amazing night's rest and the bathroom with the large shower head is fantastic! Plenty of space for us 3 adults and 3 young people and walking distance to the water! Would love to go there again!

Location is perfect if you need a break from the hustle and traffic, cleanliness, friendliness of the town in general is something to be proud of.

We had a great long weekend. Grateful to have the perfect view of the sea. The accommodation itself could have smelled just a bit more fresher. The curtains (in rooms) and pillows (in open plan kitchen) had a musty smell. I understand the place is closed, but isn't there someone who makes preparations in advance? Thanks for the prompt service.
The accommodation is stunning, warm, safe and welcoming.
The house makes it possible for families to visit and sit on the porch almost all day and watch the sea. Very nice food made in the indoor barbecue and Struisbaai's people and the weather was at its best.
The sea views are wonderful.
The house is nice and tidy with lovely hot water in the shower. It's close to the sea and has a nice foosball table. There are a few suggestions that may help the following people visit. The house and kitchen have very little storage space. We had to make plans to have room for a food pantry. There were also only 6 hangers in a house for 6 people. May indicate that own hangers are required. The sink in the kitchen drain was leaking, so the sink was emptying all the time. Unfortunately, the mattresses in the children's room were very soft so that they slept in dents and felt as if they were lying on the boards. Furthermore, we really enjoyed the nice clean house and view.
We had a great time. The location is fantastic and close to everything. Excellent customer service! Hopefully we will be there again soon!

We had a great time at Dankbaar. I just missed closets to hang our clothes. Furthermore, everything we needed was there and we really enjoyed it.
Couple of recommendations. Supply the following: Iron, electric frying pan, towels, beach umbrellas. Cleanliness: ensure braai area and gross are cleaned.

Lovely accommodation, placed in the perfect spot with open, uninterrupted views of the ocean from a open-plan balcony. Close to everything. What I suggest is also supplying bath towels for the guests as we were only given hand towels. Furthermore we probably will book again at this establishment. Thanks.
