Very nice stay. The apartment is well furnished with everything needed. Slept very well and enjoyed the view. I would, if I may, suggest that the cleaning services be addressed regarding the following: 1. Shower floor was dirty on arrival. 2. Frying pan was not washed and stored dirty in the cupboard. 3. The grill was dirty inside the grill.

We really enjoyed our few nights at Marius' apartment. Everything was spotless. The sea is just like that with you in the bedroom in the evening. One also feels very safe in the complex with many security guards patrolling in the evening. Even spotted a great white shark catching a seal one morning. Can really recommend the place.

The location of De Branders 50 is excellent. You can't be closer to the sea. The security of the place is excellent and the service from Marius is very good. No problem picking up and dropping off key. Cleanliness and things that were not right, I took up with Marius myself. Sea water is nice and warm and beaches are clean. Lifeguards were there all the time to keep an eye on swimmers. Great swimming beach for little ones and teenagers. Nice swimming and long walks on the beach. I will definitely stay at De Branders 50 again in the future.

The keys weren't left in the box at the garage upon collection. The unit wasn't very clean (broomed or vacuumed). The unit was smelling like strong cigarette smoke on arrival.

We really enjoyed our stay at De Branders 50. Everything was neat and clean. There was WiFi and all the DSTV channels were available. The most incredible view of the sea. We were even lucky enough to see dolphins frolicking in the waves. Walking distance to all restaurants, shops, putt-putt and pool. We will definitely stay there again. We just struggled to get hold of the key, there will definitely need to be more communication between agent and landlord.

Location and safety are excellent. Customer service - communication regarding the booking was good. Booked for 7 days, would expect after 4 days there would be a cleaning and linen/towels would be replaced. Cleanliness - the unit needs an urgent face lift, therefore I would not recommend the unit and my award for value for money is 2 stars. Accommodation in Hartenbos is very competitive and there are many nice units available, even in the complex.

In terms of De Branders 50's atmosphere, you cannot find a better location in Hartenbos. It's on the beach and close to the shops and amusement park. The unit has everything you need and is well maintained. Communication on booking could be improved from the owner, but in terms of accommodation it is fantastic for a weekend or even longer stay.

Collecting the key to gain access was (unfortunately) not well communicated in advance. Other than that we were completely happy with the booking. Location is perfect. Hopefully again one day!

The unit is fully equipped. Very neat and clean. Very comfortable sofa and chairs, as well as the beds. The only complaint is the cockroaches that are especially in the living area! It will definitely need attention!

There was some confusion with the keys to the apartment but after a few calls and visits to the pick-up point it was sorted. The residential unit was tidy on arrival and has everything you might need during your stay. However, there was no inventory of equipment that could be checked to identify any items that might be missing. Other than that the stay was great. The unit's location, covered parking, washing machine facilities and especially the view over the sea will definitely make us return.

Apartment well furnished and located. Expected somewhat more from letting agent though. rules, accessibility etc. Personal contact would be better instead of just SMS commands/messages. Would also recommend that unit be cleaned very well, as well as fumigated especially in relation to cockroaches

The stay was incredibly nice with the beautiful sea view. Enough sleeping space as advertised. The kitchen is not fully equipped with enough knives and forks for 6 people. There were also not enough plates or glasses. The sink was very dirty and we had to clean it properly first. Shower floors were very dirty and we first had to scrub the floors properly. The sheets on the master bedroom bed had dirty stains on them. The braai had not been cleaned at all and the table and porch itself had been very dirty, also had to be cleaned first. Ground floor floors were also dirty. I would not recommend De Branders 50 for the amount of money asked per night.

But we understand that this place often gets hired by different people and that stuff generally breaks, gets lost or has to be replaced.

The beds and couches were not very comfortable, but it was fantastic to wake up every morning "on" the beach!

We love Hartenbos but are very disappointed with the unit. The upper master bedroom's window and door are broken. The guest toilet seat is broken, the sliding door made so much noise with all the wind coming through. Then the worst the beds in both rooms are horrible! You can't sleep on it, the feathers steal through and hurt you. We had to go and buy blankets and put them up just to be able to sleep a little although it was still not comfortable. The pillows are tired, one flat pillow on each bed, and I'm talking old. We like to go to De Branders every year, but have never had such an experience. Don't know if it's the agent or the owner who doesn't maintain the place but it was very disappointing. My mother with her back surgery had to try to sleep on a bed so tired that she couldn't walk the next day. Will never smell the unit again.

Accommodation was comfortable and clean. There was repair and construction going on but it didn't bother me at all. All arrangements were also done professionally and we never needed to struggle with anything. Will definitely consider staying there again and also recommending De Branders to others.
