The accommodation is very neat, spacious, clean and comfortable. It is located on the edge of the town, but close to the core for the necessary shops, etc.
Had such a nice stay. Was kindly received and the Village Meerkat went out of their way to make sure that our visit was one for the books. You receive nice and early directions that are accurate. Coffee and biscuits are waiting for you. It was just nice and felt like home.

The guest house is super neat and very modern. There is everything you need and more. The view is very beautiful and the owners are very friendly. The check-in process was very easy and check-out was just as easy. I will definitely stay at Dorpsmeekat again.

We were really pleasantly surprised with these impeccably tidy, well-equipped self-catering units. The location on the edge of Bethlehem is ideal, especially in these pandemic times, and we received a really warm welcome. There is plenty of room for the children to roam outside in the securely fenced yard and see the chickens and other farm animals.

Linda's place is highly recommendable and is nice and quiet and very cold in the winter but the air conditioning and warm blanket make up for the cold.

Linda went out of her way to help us. It is beautiful, stylish and you immediately feel at home. She goes to the extra trouble such as switching on the electric blanket in the icy Bethlehem winter weather. There were also delicious homemade rusks and coffee. We spent two nights at Die Dorpsmeerkat and will definitely stay there again. The accommodation is bigger that most one bedroom apartments in town. It is very tastefully decorated with good quality furniture and gets lots of sunlight. A must for cold Bethlehem. The view is beautiful, the people and the dogs are so friendly. Our electrical blankets was switched on beforehand and there was fresh milk in the fridge. It went beyond our expectations. You will definitely see us again.

What a beautiful and safe place to spend the night. Really value for money, excellently equipped, with lots of extras. Linda is very tidy in her place, and we felt very much at home.

Linda made an exception so we could bring along our miniature dachshunds seeing as they recently had an operation. This made things so much easier for us. Our sons enjoyed the garden so much and especially the friendly dogs in the yard. The unit was exceptionally equipped, spacious and luxuriously decorated. From now on we'll go to Bethlehem, when we go to Die Dorpsmeerkat, since it is a destination on its own. Gone are the days that we went to the Dorpsmeerkat when we had to be in Bethlehem. Die Dorpsmeerkat is definitely our only choice for all future visits to Bethlehem.
Beautiful place with everything that one can think of - even an umbrella which it turned out we needed. We were a bit early, but that was no problem - everything was neat and ready. Linda is a very friendly hostess. The furniture, linen etc. is really pretty. Well done!!

The Village Meerkat far exceeded my expectations. Everything we needed was available in the apartment. Tea coffee and fresh milk. The only negative point is the steel steps leading to the front door are quite steep and old people and people who have difficulty walking and cannot climb will find this a problem.
Linda is an excellent hostess, and made us feel very much at home. There was everything we needed. It was spacious enough to share with our two children. It is peaceful and quiet.
Linda went to great lengths to make our stay enjoyable. Fresh milk left in fridge. Even matches, Firelighters and charcoal left in barbecue.

Very neat, quiet place. Lots of grass area for kids to play and animals to say help to. The apartment was very nicely furnished with everything you need for a night or twos stay. Main bedroom was very big, as was the bathroom (huge shower). For what we paid, I did not expect such luxury and space! Our host was very friendly and accommodated all our needs!!!
