The spacious house is only a few meters from where the waves break and offer a private beach that can be reached by a short footpath from the house.
There are 7 bedrooms, 2 of which are ideal for children and are equipped with bunk beds. The other rooms comprise queen-size beds and the house has 3 bathrooms.
Guests can make themselves at home in front of the TV that has a full DStv package and enjoy preparing a meal in the open-plan kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee- and tea-making facilities, crockery and cutlery. It also boasts a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher for guests' convenience.
There is a fireplace and a braai area outside.
There is a table-tennis table can be folded up and guests can relax on the second floor in comfortable chairs, looking out over the ocean.
The property is pet and child-friendly. The house has an alarm system and offers a lock-up garage for secure parking.

11 guests' feedbackAbsolutely fantastic. The house is a gem and has so much character. The location is great, the layout of the house contributes to a pleasant atmosphere. There is enough space so that we are not under each other's feet (we were 8 adults). Everything you need is there. We could switch off and go home refreshed. We (all 8 of us) will definitely come again. Louise is a star, the arrangements, always available for a question and fresh flowers and fruit when we arrived.
Nice quiet area near the beach and enough space for children to play safely.
The Colony has a unique atmosphere and lots of space. Well equipped with everything we needed. Right on the sea with a beautiful beach.

Excellent value for money, the house has everything a large group of people need, everything is very neat and clean. The house is well planned with large areas for eating together and socializing with a cozy braai area. We were a large group of family members who thoroughly enjoyed the weekend. Thank you Louise, we will be back again soon! Shopping can be done comfortably within minutes at nearby shopping centers.

The house was clean, the area is safe and the location is brilliant. Glentana pleasantly surprised us. Our dog enjoyed it just as much (note that the house is not fenced). We can't wait to return.
It is a beautiful house, perfect for a large or small group of people to holiday with ease. It is fully equipped with everything to facilitate your stay. The alarm system gives peace of mind. The walking distance from the beach is perfect for the "big trek" with a small team. We are already planning our next visit to Die Kolonie!
We had a wonderful weekend during our stay in the Colony, only pity a weekend was far too short. I would recommend this house to anyone, from small to large groups, we are already looking forward to our next visit there. Beautiful view and the dolphins frolicking in the waves all the time! Breathtaking!
