We were greeted by a beautifully appointed room with an excellent quality queen size bed. Important for us with problem rue. The hostess went out of her way to make sure we were warm enough in the freezing cold. Bedding was clean and of good quality with an electric blanket. Good WiFi and communication from the hostess.

Excellent value for your money.
The location is such that you can easily reach anywhere in the city. Google Maps takes you right to the gate. The entrance is clearly marked. It has solar panels and gas stove during power outages. The owner notified us of power outages and unplanned power outages. Braai facilities were available.
I was very kindly received by Merelda. The unit is very neat and attention has been paid to the finest detail. The unit is not affected by load shedding, which is a huge bonus! Very safe, quiet neighborhood. You will definitely see us again.
Everything you need to sleep comfortably. We slept wonderfully cozy in the bed with cuddly blankets and electric blanket. The heater that was available also helped to chase away the cold. Thank you for the milk in the fridge, the coffee, tea, sugar, milk powder, breakfast porridge that was available. Thank you also for making a braai available on request. Unfortunately time caught us and we couldn't make use of it. Thanks also for the bath towels that were available. Wow, never had so many towels available. Decor is absolutely beautiful and the farm theme clearly showed. Even the roosters that announced the arrival of a new day early in the morning took us to the farm. Thank you very much for everything Mirelda. We really felt at home and would love to stay again if needed.

Die Plaashuis is our #1 stay in Pretoria for whatever reason we might be in the city. Quiet neighbourhood and secure. I love the extras that Mirelda thought of, for example an extension cord with extra plugs, an umbrella, margarine in the fridge, a guest towel to use at the washbasin, hand soap. She is really thoughtful. And for being Christians ourselves, the best part was that there is a Bible on the nightstand and a Bible verse on the fridge. Mirelda will see us definitely again.
There was covered parking available behind a locked gate, the owner Mirelda was a lovely lady, very friendly. The kitchen had everything you would need for self-catering purposes. There were breakfast, milk, teas, coffee and sugar supplied. It was over and above what I expected. I will stay there again for sure.
The Farmhouse was all we needed. A safe place behind a closed gate and vehicle is also safe. Could leave our vehicle and belongings there with peace of mind throughout the day and night while we were away. The husband and wife were very friendly and helped me with an allergy pill when I needed it. Will definitely stay there again when the time comes for doctors appointments or just for the weekend getaway.

Our breath was taken away with the beautiful place. The decor is beautiful and the hand painted effect makes it feel like home. I'm not someone who sleeps well in another bed, but that bed and pillows were so comfortable that I was out like a candle every time I laid my head on those pillows! We got a message every day with the load shedding schedule, and were kept up to date with phases. Excellent service! I also cannot fault the cleanliness and beauty at all. It's always a great blessing for me when we can drink good coffee and not worry about the small containers of milk that barely color the coffee. Mirelda just had two liters of milk in the fridge and included breakfast cereal for the hollow spots in the price. This exquisitely furnished guest house has a strong farmhouse effect, which I believe contributed to our relaxing time. Will definitely save this guest house among my "favorite" rest stops.
The Farmhouse is really a beautiful place to sleep if you need to spend a quick night in Pretoria. The owner really makes it worthwhile with breakfast porridge and coffee all at your disposal in your Farmhouse. There is WiFi and TV at your disposal.
