You just feel at home. Wakkerstroom is in itself very cute and we enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the hotel. Will definitely visit again.
We had a really peaceful and quiet experience. We loved the fact that we could walk to town. It really felt like home.

Walking distance from the main street. Enough of everything for two: bedding, towels, cutlery, seating and a place to hang out. Lovely shower. Allow well for load shedding and water outages. Excellent communication from host.
We received a very friendly welcome and clear route directions from the hostess and owner. Everything you need for a nice stay, sleeping and cooking was available. Would recommend the Pophuis with confidence.

Firstly, the directions were off sent from the owner. Please provide more accurate directions as Badenhorst Street is not the right street to turn off in and it is not Laag Street there. The dirt road is terrible too there and it is very confusing. People should rather turn off into Engelbrecht of Van der Schyff Street. The stoepie really need a roof for shade as you cannot sit there during the day because you burn to a crisp in the sun, and also a table to put your things on whilst sitting there. All your plants are dead in the garden though. On the inside everything is just too dull and blue. I suggest maybe a warmer autumny colour scheme with shades of green to tone it down. Maybe put more comfortable lounge chairs there too. Otherwise it is quite a quaint little place and we enjoyed our stay there. We loved the big yard and the big trees around us.
I can definitely recommend the dollhouse.

Die Pophuis has everything one needs, put together in a beautiful blue themed package. On a very cold weekend, we were warm, cozy and comfortable. Perfect for short stays in Wakkerstroom and close enough to the centre of the town.

It's simple with all the basic necessities for a nice overnight stay and within reach of everything that Wakkerstroom has to offer. We will definitely use Die Pophuis again. The Pophuis is perfect for a weekend getaway with all the basic necessities. It is conveniently located and very private. Our best expectations were exceeded with the place and will definitely use Die Pophuis again in the future.

The pictures don't do it justice. It is a perfect tiny house for two! The surrounds are of small holding farmland, sheep and cows.
We spent 4 nights at Die Pophuis and enjoyed every minute. It had every convenience, was spotless and close to everything. Hannetjie was a very sweet and helpful lady and we will certainly be back.

We got a response from LekkeSlaap immediately after contacting them for accommodation. Die Pophuis was lovely. Well equipped with all the necessities. Felt very safe with the lights switching on by itself, especially at night when returning home. Had a good night's rest. Will be returning.
