Very nice stay. Clean and tidy with everything you need.
The aunt is lovely and shares all kinds of interesting things about the history of the area. It was really fun!
The perfect weekend getaway spot!
It was exactly as pictured. What you see is what you got! Breathtaking experience.
We had a wonderful stay in the tin house and were afraid that it would be too cold, but slept very warm and cozy after sitting on the porch and grilling meat while admiring the moon and stars. The dogs also really enjoyed running around outside. The cottage had everything we needed and we would love to go there on a regular basis to relax and come back down to earth.
Ideal holiday home on the Karoo plain. Basic, but sufficient to stay off-grid comfortably and contentedly.
A really great place to go if you just want a break from the busy city life. When me and my wife arrived at Die Sinkhuisie we were pleasantly surprised. It was a lot nicer than we thought. The owners really made it as nice as possible and we really enjoyed our stay at Die Sinkhuisie.
Stars and silence incredible. Very safe. Everything you need is there.
We had a great time and the farm atmosphere was wonderful ─ even saw some springbok near the house. Everything you need is there and it was very convenient. We definitely recommend the cottage. All that bothered were the 5 dead geckos lying in the house.
The environment is very peaceful and relaxing.
Die Sinkhuisie is very rustic however quaint and clean. If it's a Karoo farm experience you are looking for this is it. Complete isolation, completely quiet and magnificent skies.
Here you come back to earth and appreciate the simple, everyday things again.

What a place to stay! No nagging cellphones, TV, just you and nature. The facilities are very good, we had everything we needed. A great place to just relax and recharge your own batteries.
Off grid, no phone reception, just you and nature. Slept very well. It definitely counts under an experience, more than just an overnight stay.
The tin house was very special to us, although it will not be to everyone's taste. All essentials are there and the donkey's water was still nice and warm after a freezing cold night so we could have a nice shower before we went on.
Very friendly hostess. Setting ideal, off the beaten track. Something different but very nice.
