From the outset the communication even before I checked in was fantastic, with directions, phone numbers and details. On arrival I was greeted kindly, shown where my accommodation was and given the basic information of the premises. The tranquility and cleanliness captivated me. I immediately felt at home and safe - like I was staying with long-time friends. I will definitely call there again for accommodation and recommend accommodation there with great love.

Nice stay, but the address on the website is wrong, We searched for the place for more than an hour.
After struggling to get hold of someone to say we were going to be late it was worth it! Many thanks to the owner who patiently waited for us until almost 12 o'clock at night and gave us a warm welcome even though it was damn cold outside! The warm room, coffee and bed were just what we needed! We will definitely stay with you again!
A breathtaking escape from the city.
Douglas Drift is located in a beautiful area. The communal kitchen has everything one needs and is a great space to cook together. The owners make an effort to make you feel at home, like the warm blanket on the lovely cuddly bed.
Friendly and helpful people made us feel at home.

Service was very good and friendly enough. Kitchen is very modern and neat and one may use it. I suggest they put heaters/wall heaters in the rooms to make it warmer. We froze from the cold because we don't believe or think it's safe to turn on electric blankets. I also suggest they give more options of different pillows so your neck doesn't hurt the next day especially after a long ride. Furthermore, the service was very good and I was able to sit and grill in privacy.
Beautiful view with a morning walk to the river was a wonderful surprise. Cosy, good bedding and neat place with all the necessary ablutions in place. The kitchen area was fully equipped and was not a problem because we were alone. We were mostly out so it was nice to come "home" to enjoy one another's company. Very friendly owners. Will stay there again.
We enjoyed our stay at Douglas View, the accommodation was clean, comfortable and affordable. Close to the shops and Sani Pass. The owner allowed us to store our motorcycles in a safe place, which made us very happy.
