I stayed 2 nights while taking part in the Midmar Mile and the bachelor flat was ideal for my needs as a single traveller. The nearby generator switched on automatically with load shedding so that there was no visible power failure and operated continuously during load shedding and then switched off again. Each evening a packed breakfast was provided which I really appreciated as I would be leaving early each morning. There is also a strong sense of safety and security on site. I can definitely recommend Dunranch House to other travelers and would like to stay there again if I participate in Midmar again. Many thanks to Shelley, Londeka and the team at Dunranch House.

Comfortable and attractive rooms in a tranquil garden setting, although there is traffic noise from the N3 on Town Hill close by. A good hearty cooked breakfast is included in the rate. Two minutes from Victoria Country Club, one of SA's top golf courses, which is handy if you are a golfer.
