Was for doctor's appointment in Worcester and business. Didn't have enough time for relaxing and had to come back to the farm in Sutherland.
I like to stay here when I'm in the area because it's clean, tidy and safe, with the most beautiful view. The hostess is always super friendly and her dinners are top notch. What is also very nice is that loadshedding does not play a role, which Eagle's Crest has the necessary things that work when Eskom is not working.

First morning the hot water was cold. Safe parking does not mean parking in the street, rather indicate that the parking is in the street - then you know in advance. Guests next door kept us awake at 3:30 in the morning.

Could only check in from 16h00, but owner was kind enough to let us check in at 13h00. Quiet and beautiful residential area.
We were welcomed by a pipe band that was playing Christmas Carols in the area which was an awesome experience. Marlize welcomed us and was lovely, explained all the ins and outs as well as what would happen in case of loadshedding. The only thing we can fault is that the braai area at the top by the pool was dirty as the previous visitors had braaid and left packets etc. around that area and left the table dirty. The view was spectacular and the accommodation comfortable and appealing. Just a suggestion, the 3 sleeper, extra rusks would have been a bonus but that's just a suggestion. Perhaps some railings on the steps going up the side from the rooms and going up to the pool area would be a great addition. We did feel safe there which was a benefit for us.

Family reunion, we booked out all the rooms and it was just perfect. Helpful friendly hosts who were extremely accommodating and always on hand to answer any questions. We felt safe and well cared for. The pool area is stunning, but beware of many steps if you have mobility problems (we were made aware of these ahead of time). We will be back!

Host was very attentive, explained how everything worked when we arrived however we feel it could have been done in a different manner and perhaps signage put on things we were "not allowed to touch". The breakfast offered was good value for money and the host put effort into making it however the conversation and topics were very negative and off-putting. I don't like to complain and I'm a very positive and upbeat person however I do hope this is shared with the host so she can be a bit more aware of this for future guests. The large dustbin next to the fridge was also not emptied upon arrival and there was a previous guest's rubbish and wine bottle in the bin. Again something forgotten but very important to ensure it is done before the next check-in. An incident occurred with a laptop on the morning of my check-out. I heard everything and when asked about it at breakfast I was completely dismissed - instead, I should have perhaps been told she would come to discuss it with me in my room?
Now that was a happy one! Everyone was so welcoming. Room neat and could stream and watch TV very updated. Delicious splash pool in cooled. The hostess thought of everything to make it nice for us, who was in contact with us in advance to hear what we needed which really went out of her way. I save her details and we will definitely use them for future tours.

Amazing view, quiet environment.
I felt very welcome and my reception was excellent. The beds and bedding are of good quality. There is everything you need in the room and you can also use the kitchen next to the dining room to prepare your meals. There is a swimming pool on the top level and the views are lovely. The breakfast was also very nice and I could choose what I would like to eat and you can arrange it with the hostess. There is a private place to sit outside the room but also other cosy nooks to socialise and rest. I will definitely stay here again.

Only downside is lots of stairs especially up to pool area but great view once up. Delicious home cooked supper at reasonable price. Table and chairs had not arrived yet for our verandah but should be there by now. Owner even gave us a lift to town.

Only slept one night. Arrived late and left early. Everything was nice. All I could notice was that new doors had been put in and they hadn't been painted yet. But that didn't detract from the stay.
The room is comfortable, however on the 1st day the geyser was off. The rooms are not serviced daily at all, you have to make your own bed. Ran out of toilet paper, had to buy my own as the rooms are not cleaned or checked daily.

We had a great stay, enjoyed a delicious breakfast and enjoyed the silence and privacy of the guest house and surroundings. The beautiful view over the golf course and mountains is also an added bonus. We will definitely use Eagle's Crest's services again in the future.
Only pity kitchen for breakfast is right next to room. Very noisy in the early morning.
