The accommodation was what I expected and what I needed. Chair and table by the pool will be enjoyed.
Room very cramped. Sg breakfast tray weak coffee in Jacobs container, bath, bath. Workers come into the room in the morning without knocking. Not enough blankets for this time of year. No top sheet on bed?

Would recommend Eagles Nest to anyone. Very central. Would stay there again.
Place is small and comfortable but was not cleaned or prepared for a visitor.
The accommodation at Eagles Nest was, to say the least, atrocious. I had to sit in front of the gate for an hour until someone came to open for me. I didn't have a guesthouse experience when I walked in, it felt more like a commune. You walk in through the front door because all the guesthouse rooms are in the hallway. To get to my room I had to walk through the kitchen, because my room's door was in the kitchen. I assume that a bunch of contractors or miners also stay there, because 04:00 in the morning there was a huge noise in the kitchen and I couldn't sleep further. I decided to go shower, only to get cold water. At breakfast one white and one brown loaf of bread is placed on the table with a packet of oats in your room. There wasn't even water in the room to make the oats with. I was really disappointed and feel robbed of my money. I also just have to mention that I stayed the next night also in Kathu, at a different guesthouse, and the two cannot even be compared.
