The place is medicine for the soul. Breathtaking views, peaceful in nature, fully equipped with everything one needs. Alarm system. That there is an inverter that at least keeps WiFi and lights on during loadshedding is a very big bonus. We love Eastford Country Estate and hope to visit again.
We stayed in number 12. A beautiful house with stunning views of Knysna town, Knysna Heads and surrounding area. The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for our four-night stay. Erica is a friendly and accommodating host and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. What a lovely stay. We will definitely return.
Service was excellent and we were kept up to date with status of booking and arrival. Thanks to Sue we were up to date with everything and welcomed personally on arrival.
Unit 11 has this great view. The unit is spotless and modern. Very spacious. Ideal for 2 couples with a 3rd bedroom to spare.

We had a great stay in No 8. It's quiet, private, safe and a great place to just switch off, yet it's nice and close to town for shopping, eating out and the like. With the gas stove, as well as "inverters" for the headlights, TV and wi-fi, we were not even aware of load shedding.
The pictures and marketing doesn't do the place justice. Really outstanding and gem in the heart ok knysna! Very safe, friendly and chilled hosts. Would highly recommend!
We felt welcome from arrival to departure. Agent was in contact all the time to hear if we were satisfied and passed on information regarding load shedding. Boys could roam freely and felt safe walking the walkways.

Beautiful views over Knysna. Quiet and safe. Silver clean, with all the basic items you need. All that would make it better is a few small, practical items to make the unit feel a little more personal. We will stay there again.

Our house was very spacious and modern. It was spotless and every day Yolanda helped us get the "holiday mess" back in order. Yolanda was a real star. The nature reserve was safe and we could go for a walk or jog without feeling threatened. The view from our porch was postcard-beautiful. Luxurious, neatly maintained home, superbly equipped. Stunning location with breathtaking views over the Knysna lagoon. Advantage that each room has its own bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen with more than one would need. Abundant space with cathedral ceilings - this illuminates the experience of luxury and tranquility. Beautiful nature - lots of birdsong - with native proteas in abundance. Close enough to the town center that two or three trips a day could be made without difficulty. Friendly and competent service from staff who cleaned the house.
