We are situated close to Mkondeni Industrial Park and we provide a safe and convenient parking space for any industrial motor/vehicle.
Accommodation is offered in 6 comfortable luxurious bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom with a shower, DStv, individually controlled air-conditioning, and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Each bedroom is furnished with twin beds, which can be converted into a large double bed, and all guests have their own remote for the main gate so that cars are parked within the premises. Each room also has its own separate entrance, allowing guests to come and go as they please.
A full breakfast is served in the dining room, and a shuttle service to and from the airport, as well as locale travels, is offered.

15 guests' feedbackThe lady who received me was friendly and helpful. The place is painfully neat and clean (fresh linen and towels). Delicious breakfast delivered to the room promptly at the time as booked. TV with DSTV in the room. I would recommend anyone to stay overnight at the place. It is out of the city but quiet, clean and tidy.
Towel rail in bathroom was broken/broken. Shower light did not work. No hot water (lights are basic things you check before your guests check in). Every guesthouse needs to learn fast, you no longer give Riccoffy (chicory - in Europe it's a vegetable) for coffee and neither does powdered milk. And then an artificial sweetener is a must. I don't expect a percolator. Just coffee, with milk, and (for diabetics) a sweetener instead of sugar. Location, if you arrive in the late afternoon/early evening and you still need to get something for dinner, that's unfortunately a no.
Friendly reception, neat clean unit, very nice breakfast. Slept well while it was 0 ° C outside. Definitely worth it.
Ekhaya Lodge is an overnight facility that is conveniently located for people who want to support athletes participating in the annual Comrades Marathon (especially with the "on race"). Athletes who want to practice on the Comrades route in advance ("Little Polly's & Polly Shorts") can also find a good home here.
Quiet. A place to relax your mind. Thumbs up for cleanliness and friendliness.
Towel rail broken, bedside lamps no place to be plugged in, kettle has to be put on the floor to cook because its cord is too short to reach wall plug. The place is clean, but definitely not more than R450 per night!
The room is very nice. Things that requires urgent improvement is the hot water pressure, location of the TV in the bedroom. The noise levels from the main house is very disturbing when you rest.
It was very disappointing. I didn't even sleep over because it was dirty and intolerable.

The service was excellent and the accommodation was up to standard.
We were put in the cabins. My wife and I had single beds, no fridge and no microwave. Our married children had those luxuries. For the price we paid we would have expected breakfast to be included.
Room was comfortable and we were received kindly.
We were allowed to choose the room ourselves. Room was clean. The hostess received us, but after that we did not see her again. Breakfast was meager before the 90 rand we paid. We were very pleased with one hostess. But it failed us.
Place was nice and clean and definitely good value for money.
But it was actually a wooden room. It's quite value for money though.
