Lovely stay with animals and birds visiting us in the garden! Very good safaris with the knowledgeable guides seeing rhinos and antelopes. Mabalingwe is a charming reserve! Maybe soap in both bathrooms would be good and WiFi connection! Thank you.
Very nice. Would recommend WiFi as Fstv is only available in one room.
We enjoyed our stay in the bush. The place was very peaceful and we could see animals roaming while in our unit. We could definitely come back.
Yes, the location is ideal.
Great location. Room was not clean. No wifi in roon depsoite having a smart TV (thgis should be made clear). There was initially no linen for the children's sleeper couches and only four towels. No hand towels in the bathrooms. Unit could do with a thorough clean before guests arrive. The agent was responsive and did assist but these issues ruined the 2-day vacation.
The curtains look very sloppy - can't close the master bedroom's at all because of broken brackets. The kitchen table is full of marks and does not look good at all. The boiler is in bad condition. The braai is falling apart - the first night we grilled meat, the braai fell apart because the base is propped up with stones - we had to throw away all the meat. Toilet seat in the 1 bathroom is too small and uncomfortable and the toilet leaks water. Linen used is very 'tatty'.
The place was double booked. 9 o'clock the others beat the other guests, what a disillusionment for me and them. The TV with all its promised channels was not available to us. The remote was without a trace and suddenly made its appearance on my bedside table last night. Also did not help TV was not connected to antenaa. Fortunately, it did not force us to entertain ourselves. Cottage not consumer friendly with all the stairs and sharp corners. Family says they really enjoyed it. The facilities at Mabalingwe are very good, restaurant and its staff of high quality and affordable. Game drives were very enjoyable. Swimming pools also good except for the alcohol consumption of some guests. Would I visit the resort again? A big yes!
