Positive: nice lock-up garage. Full DStv package. Negative: The photos do not reflect that the extra room has a double bunk bed. Very difficult for the elderly. No lamps, candles or gas for use during loadshedding. No spoils like coffee, tea and sugar. We travel a lot and 99.9% of cottages have those treats. Maybe just look at it. Other than that, no complaints.
Would recommend Erusno as a holiday accommodation.
Plumbing was abysmal. Toilet valve leaked, tap for washing machine was broken. Hot water was fed to shower by an electric pump so we were unable to shower during load shedding. Water pressure painfully low. Took forever to fill the sink. Hot tap on bath was broken.
Had a great time, the place just needs a bit of renovation, paint the roof and walls, clean the outside.
The area is peaceful. The stray cats can be a problem.

Very neat! This place met our needs. This place is good for the soul. If you want to get away from the city, I suggest Erusno.
Aletta received us well. Everything you need is there, the electric blankets were the ultimate against the cold. Very comfortable and value for money.
We were impressed with the available space in the unit. The four of us could comfortably make ourselves at home. One bathroom is a challenge to handle 4 people when time plays a role. The availability of the garage is a bonus and makes you feel safe about your vehicle. The kitchen is well equipped with a decent size fridge-freezer. The braai facilities are excellent. WiFi should be installed.
Would only suggest keys to the outside doors because if criminals come into the garage the doors are open.
If we look at the Cape in general the roads are in very good condition. Understand Lambertsbaai is a small town but could pay attention to roads. The wedding venue my children used is excellent.
It was our second visit and it was lovely.
The house is very basic. The rooms are small, but the bedding is clean. It's a shame that the place doesn't have basic things like toilet paper and help with load shedding. No candlesticks or lamps are provided. The TV didn't work. No advance information that you have to bring your own card. No Wi-Fi. Communication about the key and access as well as more information was also very limited. Erusno has the potential to be a more popular overnight stop. However, cannot be compared with other self-catering units.
Would love to be closer to the sea. And we were 4 adults, not in future bunk bed for adult, slept a bit uncomfortable.
A nice place to break away from one's hectic life in the Cape. Will definitely book with Erusno again.
Enjoyed our stay, only complaints are the fridge freezer section was over iced and we could not use the bottom tray, secondly the cutlery was not clean so we washed all the cutlery. Other than that most enjoyable stay.

House is spacious and will easily accommodate a family. Bedding was clean and tidy and the house was equipped with the necessary. Only criticism is regarding the location along a fairly busy road. However, the accommodation was value for money through and through.

We were a family, 2 children. Town and surrounding villages are friendly and peaceful. Nice holiday destination.
The house is perfect for a family or friends who want to get away for the weekend. Good lying area and very quiet. We were in town for a weekend for a wedding and it was perfect for what we were looking for. We only had no water on Saturday because a pipe burst in the town. I would have appreciated the owners maybe just sending a message before we had to ask ourselves what was going on because we were busy getting ready for the wedding. Little things make a difference on a bigger note. A small other thing was the bedroom walls which were dirty, looks like bugs were beaten to death against a wall and never cleaned.
The location and cost suited us well for our flower viewing.

Very pleasant stay. The location is right next to the main road that handles the traffic between Clanwilliam and Lamberts Bay. The advertisement gives the impression that it is a house on its own, but it is part of a 4 house complex in a single. Our neighbors opposite (50 m from our front door) visited and made noise all night. It's also not near the beach at all. I would say the house is located in the upper town.
Comfortable, clean and tidy estate on the main street, but it doesn't bother much as the village is quiet and peaceful.
Functional holiday cottage for short stays.
Ek was teleurgesteld dat daar geen bo-laken was nie. Die bekers/koppie was ontsettend groot. Die sponsie in die kombuis was 'n gebruikte een. Daar was geen tee, koffie of melk om gaste te verwelkom nie.
There are braai facilities inside, but you smell them inside the house even though we didn't use them.

The decor fits everything together nicely and there is even a garage for safety and also a nice indoor braai place where you can braai a pike. Erusno is located in a quiet part of Lambertsbaai. Would feel free to recommend Erusno to anyone staying overnight in Lambertsbaai.

The place was very clean and tidy. An electric frying pan can be recommended. The indoor barbecue area was very cozy. We had a wonderful time on the stoep. The bedding was neat and clean.

What a special place, an all in one package. Peaceful and blissful, I was completely relaxed here. It was simply a miniature version of my own home, everything I needed was there and more. Everything is clean and tidy, and entertaining. There is absolutely nothing I can say wrong about the place, the blissful lounge, the comfortable TV room for those "idle lay" days, and rest for your soul in terms of safety with the lock up garage, which is a large vehicle can accommodate. I will visit again soon, my heart was heavy as I headed home, and had to distance myself from the West Coast gem.

The place was surprisingly more spacious than we expected. An ideal place for longer stays. The kitchen is very well equipped. There is a braai room. What was confusing was that the name "Erusno" did not appear on the unit and we drove a few minutes before we realised we were in the right place.

Lovely place to stay with a nice braai room and close to everything.
House comfortable and friendly. Toaster did not work. No bread knife. All the toilet paper was a half-used roll. When we discussed it with the caretaker we were told that only one toilet roll was provided. It should be at least a full roll.
We enjoyed our stay and accomplished our mission to photograph the Gannetts.
I would recommend this beautiful, tidy place any time. If I wasn't as far away from Lambertsbaai like I am, I would stay there for a few months! Thanks you to the owner who thought of literally everything!
