Please note on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, check-in is between 10:00 and 13:00. This is different from our weekday check-in times, which are between 14:00 and 18:00

Breakage deposit
The following may affect the refund of your breakage deposit:
- We reserve the right to use the breakage deposit towards cleaning, repair or replacement costs if the property has been left dirty, if items are missing, or damaged, or if extraordinary cleaning of the property, linen or furniture is required.
- Please wash and put away your dirty dishes before departure, as unwashed dishes will incur an additional fee
- If you bring your pets, please keep them off furniture, avoid disturbing the neighbours, and clean up after them. Failure to comply may result in forfeiture of the breakage deposit.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in the houses. If we detect any signs or smells of smoke, the deposit will not be refunded.
- The breakage deposit will be refunded within 14 working days, minus any deductions. If the deposit is insufficient, the booking person is personally responsible for covering additional costs
Self-Catering Essentials
- As you prepare for your stay with us, don't forget that our accommodation is self-catering, please pack the following must-have items: towels (bath and beach), dishcloths, wood, food, toiletries, cleaning supplies, extra toilet paper (we have one roll per toilet to start with) and extra black bags (there's one in the bin)
Pets
- If you have arranged in advance, you are welcome to bring a maximum of two well-behaved pets.
- Pets are not allowed on the beds or the furniture, please bring their own beds, bedding and feeding bowls.
- Your pet must not be a nuisance to the neighbours and must be on a leash once guests leave the property.
- And, of course, remember to clean up after your pet.
The owner of the property and the property manager accept no responsibility or liability for any injuries, loss, damage, theft or death, to any person and/or, to his/her property or any items forgotten or left in the house.

The kitchen contains a fridge-freezer, an oven and a stove, a microwave, a dishwasher, a tumble-dryer and a washing machine.
There is a dining area with a table and seating that seats 6 persons with a built in braai and TV, guests are welcome to rent DStv Premium at an extra cost.
A secure, lock-up garage is available for 2 vehicles to park in. Esprit da Sea is located a 2-minute walk from the beach, and is a drive from a few shops and restaurants in Velddrif.

11 guests' feedbackNice close to the sea. Kids really enjoyed it, and so did friends. Very comfortable and had a great time despite the cold weather.
There are certain kitchen necessities in the house that need to be replaced as well as bedding, otherwise it was nice to stay there.

The house is well furnished, safe.
The house is very well located. At the beach. The house has no decor, furniture can really be worked on. There isn't even a couch to sit on and watch TV, just straight up hard plank chairs. The interior of the house needs a lot of attention. It's good for when you just want to sleep there but you can't sit anywhere outside either. There are only showers and no bath.
We as friends had a good time together. Place is very quiet and also very safe. We also probably laughed very loudly at times as we played games, which attracted the attention of others. But that was not our intention either. But really got value for our money. Really beautiful house and nice getaway.
Nice living house. Close enough to see, hear and smell the sea. Peaceful and wonderful visit.
Very nice and quiet area, friendly faces everywhere you look. Will definitely want to go back in the summer.

We had a great time and the house is close to the white sandy beach. Very convenient except that the seating space was limited in the braai room. The hospitality was excellent.
