Farmer Burger Manor House accommodates 4 adults and 4 children. The unit has 3 bedrooms, the first bedroom has a double bed and a single bed. The second bedroom has only a double bed whereas the third bedroom has a tri-bunk for 3 children. The units share a bathroom with shower and bath facilities. The kitchen is equipped with a kettle, gas stove, and microwave. There is a guest bathroom as well. Guests have access to a dining room as well as a lounge area to unwind.
The larger unit comprises 2 bedrooms and can accommodate 4. There is also a sleeper couch in the living area that sleeps an extra 2 guests. An extra fee is required for guests over 12. The smaller unit has 1 bedroom and sleeps 2 adults and 1 child.
The units have access to an outside braai area while parking is also provided on the premises. The units do not boast a sea view however, there is a private beach located 50 m from the units, across the road.
The popular surfing spot, Farmer Burgers is just across the road. To keep the farm atmosphere we mainly use gas, oil lamps and candles. Electricity is only for fridges, cellphone chargers, hair dryers and basic necessities. If you want to get away from cellphones, TV and the hustle and bustle of the city, then this is the place to enjoy the peace and quiet of the farm and the sea.

The swimming beach, which is only a stone's throw away, offers wonderful relaxation for young and old. We will definitely visit again!

Everything went smoothly. Elna is an iron. Thanks for the good communication. The house is really nice, clean, spacious and safe. Indoor grilling is a winner. Willem took good care of wood and a grill. The house was wonderfully cool. The beach walk and sunset are amazing. We will stay there again.

We really enjoyed the visits by the fire pit under the starry sky and the roar of the sea in the distance made for a wonderful night's rest. The beach was a short walk away and we look forward to bringing our kids to play there next time!
The accommodation is rustic. I was nervous about the 2 plate gas stove as it initially (until the jets cleared out) behaved erratically. We were fortunate in that Jeanette assisted us with the gas geyser. Otherwise, the sea and a beautiful unspoiled beach is a mere +/- 50m walk away. The farm is beautiful.

Had for several days problems with water supplies. Very busy road next to the farmhouse. In between the farmhouse and beach, there is a barbed wire fence. No direct access to the beach - had to take the car. Otherwise, very relaxed and remote, and typical farmhouse style living. Nice caves to explore.
It is on a farm, but is comfortable, clean and tidy.
We enjoyed the sound of the waves crashing on the nearby shore. It was so relaxing sitting on the porch in front of the fire. The team at Farmer Burger was welcoming and Willem was nearby when we needed advice or help to kill the scorpion. It's a natural gem with untouched fauna and flora. Will be back for more.

We had a lovely time at Farmer Burgers Accommodation. Alet was a wonderful hostess who was available all the time. She even went to the trouble of mailing us two items we had forgotten! The unit was simple, yet clean and tidy. If you want to book here you absolutely must make use of the lovely beach - it was our highlight! Thanks Alet!
In terms of safety, its not behind a big wall , it was very peaceful and doubt and issues. We had a fantastic relaxing time , our hosts were extremely accommodating.

The one bedroom apartment was clean and comfortable. Load capacity in the area as well. Small lights with small solar panels available only last two hours each. Just take extra gas lamps and rechargeable lamps with you. There is power for power plugs. There is a double plate gas stove. Bare, painted cement floors. Nice, but farm, rustic. I enjoy such a place. I adapt easily. Value for money.

Lovely stay, clean and spacious flatlet, more than I expected. There was even wood available to buy. If you want a peaceful stay, yet near the beach and town, then this is for you.
Road between Elands Bay and Lamberts Bay is a bit close to the house. However, it didn't bother us too much. The house could do with a few more wall plugs (and ceilings in the rooms in the two-bedroom unit).
Alet let us come in earlier to drop off the trailer and then explore the area. Real people-people, appreciate their effort.

The place is simple, but has everything you need. There is an indoor and outdoor barbecue. You really feel like you are on the West Coast now.
Perfect spot for a weekend getaway. The weather was bad during our visit, but the fireplace in the living area was a pleasant surprise. The house is clean, tidy and contains everything you need. The fact that there is no electricity (only fridge has power, and can charge mobile phones) made it so much better. Perfect place to make a romantic weekend break and sit in front of the fireplace and eat under candlelight. The accommodation is a few meters from the beach and one can comfortably go for a beach stroll. The famous Farmer Burgers surf spot is right across the road for those who want to brave the cold West Coast water and ferocious waves.
It is close to the sea, only the main road separates the accommodation from the sea. Note that the lighting is not electric although there is power. However, this is part of the atmosphere of the place and we enjoyed it!
Farmer Burger is very pleasant, only cold if the weather suddenly changes. It is located in a beautiful environment.

Not much value for money when compared to other places I have stayed with comfortable beds. The one on farmers was very uncomfortable. The other places also had fully equipped units with air conditioning, DStv, electricity, etc. The highlight was that the sea was a stone's throw away.
Farmer Burgers Accommodation is peaceful and quiet with the necessary facilities to have a good time and relax.
Myself, my fiance and 2 friends spent a weekend on the farm and we loved every minute of it. The place was clean and neat, it had everything you require for a breakaway. The beach was remote and felt like our own peace of the West Coast. We will be back.

It's not what I expected. No domesticity. Two of the kitchen chairs were lumbar. I sat down on one at breakfast and it broke just as I sat down and now I'm sitting with the inconvenience of an injury.
