Beautiful and peaceful stay! Just a stone's throw from Clarens, but away from the "buzz". Little extras and decor were lovely.
Tip: please don't drive the road around Maseru, Lesotho, it's extremely bad. Drive around Bloemfontein if you have to go there e.g. from the coast to Clarens.
Me, my wife, son and parents were looking for a lovely weekend in a peaceful environment. Favor House offered it to us. It is incredibly close to the town yet it feels like farm life with cattle, sheep, horses and game that we constantly heard and saw. It was so nice to be able to relax there.
Clean and tidy rooms in a beautiful garden. Our hostess went out of her way to make everything comfortable for us.

Favor House is a little gem tucked away just outside of Bethlehem. The hostess and her people are friendliness itself, you feel at home from the moment you are met until after you leave. The sunrise and sunset together with the farm animals make it an atmosphere that will put anyone's soul to rest. The accommodation is spacious and very neat and painfully clean.

Juanite was very friendly and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and at home. The place was neat and clean and everything was perfect! My kids' first guest house experience, and they enjoyed it so much!
A lovely peaceful place to unwind.
Favour House was a great surprise. We booked a double room and a family room and found both to be very comfortable and well equipped. The family room, in particular, is super spacious and has decent self-catering equipment (2-pit electric stove, microwave, fridge). The best thing about this place is the setting. The rooms are attached to the owner's house and on a working farm with cows, horses, springbok, chicken and dogs. Fantastic for the kids.
The room was neat and I received a friendly reception. There is a farm atmosphere and it does not feel like you are outside of the town. Definitely value for money.
