We enjoyed the quiet area. The unit was small but sufficient. The parking area was a bit tricky and dark for early morning departure. The loadshedding times could have been communicated better, but it wasn't a major issue.
This place is the perfect mini getaway from the city lifestyle, located perfectly with beautiful views but also easy access to shopping stores and central Stellenbosch.
The room needs an air conditioner. I stayed for two nights and my room was not serviced, made up, or visited at all during my two-day stay.

We had a very nice stay. The hostess and host were extremely friendly and helpful. We would love to stay here again anytime.
Although the check-in reception was only until 19:00 and our flight to Cape Town was delayed and we didn't arrive at the guest house until 21:30, Petra waited and received us. The room and facilities were perfect for our needs and we slept and stayed wonderfully.
We were sent a pin location with full instructions which made it very easy to find the place. We were kindly received. Our unit was spotless and tidy. Will definitely stay there again.

Very warm and welcoming! We would book again in a heartbeat. Our unit was very well appointed, with everything we needed. The outdoor patio is lovely, with a beautiful view of the farmlands. And it is quiet! The birdlife is amazing. I sat outside just revelling in the peace! This is an absolute gem, 10 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Stellenbosch, and 10 minutes to Stellenbosch Square, if you need some sedate shopping. Blaauwklippen is just down the road, and their market and food-stalls on Saturday and Sunday is a must when you visit Stellenbosch.

We were hospitably received in a lovely apartment, spacious, clean and very well and artistically furnished. We felt at home there among the vineyards and under the slopes of the beautiful mountains. Yet we were part of the town and live in Stellenbosch.

Everything was great and the host was fantastic. We were 2 4x4's and two trailers, it is a very steep driveway and they did their best to help us park. Having a braai overlooking the vineyards was lovely. Overall, a really lovely stay and will go back.

Our reception was very friendly. The room was very comfortable with a beautiful view of the mountains, and right next to an open field with cattle grazing there. The facilities were clean and tidy and comfortable. It was very hot during our stay and an air conditioner would have helped quite a bit. Would recommend Feel @ Home and use again.

The photo of the house is correct, but the entrance to the house is very steep and a vehicle can go out of control and drive into rooms and the house. No representation of sharp downhill and on photo shows as if it is level ground.

The name says exactly what the accommodation is like! Petra received us very hospitably and made us feel right at home. Feel @ Home is located in a very quiet area, just outside central Stellenbosch. The room is beautiful, clean and well equipped. The hostess is very friendly, helpful and knows the Cape well and can recommend nice places to visit.
Our family rented 3 rooms to attend a wedding in Stellenbosch, our room was even equipped with an ironing board and iron which helped us a lot in preparation. The area is lovely quiet surrounded by beautiful scenery. Petra and Chris are excellently hospitable and particularly considerate. We will definitely stay here again when in the area. The rooms are spotless and attention to detail and extra treats such as health biscuits make you feel welcome.

Booking online for anywhere can be daunting but we were so pleasantly surprised by the accommodation at Feel@Home and we definitely felt like we were at home only better. Will definitely visit again.

We immediately felt at home in the well-equipped apartment, with everything so neat, tidy and clean. In addition, the bathroom is comfortable and the dressing room with enough hanging and storage space is ideal. All the appliances, lights and plugs, fridge and microwave worked and we would have even been able to prepare meals if we had stayed longer. We met the host and hostess and immediately resonated with them. Our stay was short, but we left yesterday morning with a pleasant feel at home feeling.

It was a very hot day and we were in Stellenbosch early morning to attend a tournament. The day got very long and we were tired. Petra was available the whole time to make further arrangements and the best part was when we booked in and received cool accommodation from Feel@Home.

Beautiful area and nice room but was surprised to come back only to find that the room was not cleaned at all. I can't do business for the whole day and come back to clean make my bed and clean my room. No new clean towels provided. I would not recommend it to any one and would surely not go there again.

Location on the outskirts of Brandwag is beautiful. Friendly care from the family. We enjoyed the stay. We are from Holland and enjoyed the beach in Strand. There a quite a difference in the rooms. The swimming pool is not for the visitors. Why? It is a little private.

We were warmly welcomed by Petra, the unit was beautifully clean and tidy, very nicely located on the outskirts of the residential area and the cows and guinea fowl on the neighbouring stretch of land made us feel like we were on a farm! It's a very special place and everything works.
I would've liked a little milk and water in the fridge - I had to go out to buy milk for my coffee. Otherwise the available facilities are adequate for self-catering and good value for money. Thank you.

Feel@Home is exactly that: a beautiful, peaceful haven where you get a chance to catch your breath and feel at home. The host and hostess are very friendly and considerate and the accommodation was ready, even though we arrived before the appointed time. However, air conditioning would have been welcome. We arrived in the Cape in a heat wave and the fan in the unit was not sufficient to break the heat.

The accommodation was for our first visit to Stellenbosch Woordfees. The tranquility of Feel@Home and friendliness of the owners made us feel at home. It was convenient to have our own little kitchen, as we could make our own breakfast in the morning. We also like to drink coffee and tea "regularly"! We would be happy to recommend the guest unit.

The house has an ideal location for travellers wanting to see as much as possible in and around Stellenbosch as there is quick access to Route 44. We had a wonderful holiday weekend! Very neat place, quiet and no disturbance.
The unit is very tastefully furnished and the area is beautiful. The room we stayed in is ideal for a comfortable overnight stay. It has everything you might need for a lovely bath, where you can relax and have a good night's rest. Although your car isn't parked in the street, the yard isn't fenced and thus there is open entry to the yard. This was the only reason I didn't give full marks for safety. The unit is very safe and the area is very tranquil.

It's really difficult to maneuver in and out of the driveway. Nobody said that the flats were adjacent to the owner's property. We had no access to the swimming pool. Very old model television in one of the bedrooms and had no image.

Room 3 is spacious and open, planned with a queen-size bed and a single bed for a child or third person. It has a small kitchenette with the basic cutlery and crockery, kettle, toaster, frying pan, microwave and small fridge. The private bathroom consists of a shower, toilet and washbasin. A back door leads to a patio with a free-standing braai in a small garden.
Facilities available in all rooms include free fibre internet, a fan in summer, and an electric blanket in winter, and all rooms have their own entrance and private facilities.
Safe parking is available for only 1 vehicle per room on the premises. The owner's private pool is available on request in summer.
Guests can explore the student town with its many restaurants, art galleries, theatres, and museums, visit several wine farms in close proximity, or take a leisurely walk around the neighbourhood, mountain area, town, or along the Eerste River. There is an abundance of birds around in the neighbourhood. There are also many hiking trails and adventure trips around town to ensure an unforgettable visit.
