Four Fields is an Eco-Friendly Farm situated alongside the R102 tar road between Natures Valley and Plettenberg Bay in the coastal forest and fynbos biomes of the spectacular Garden Route, Western Cape. The Farm is incorporated into the Southern Crags Conservancy which aims to protect the beautiful and diverse indigenous flora and fauna of the Garden Route.
There are 3 delightful self-catering units, all with views of the Tsitsikamma Mountain range, our beautiful established garden and meadows. Each unit has its own braai/ barbeque area. Equipped with quality furnishings and comfortable beds, these units offer a pleasurable stay and retreat to recuperate the soul.
The Farm House can accommodate 8 people in 4 bedrooms, fitted with either a double or twin bed, all with en-suite bathrooms. There are a large open-plan living area and a fully equipped kitchen. All rooms open out onto patios and the bird-filled garden.
The Lavender Cottage can accommodate 2 people in a large bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The open- plan living area has a kitchenette with gas hob, fridge-freezer, and microwave. Both the bedroom and living area open out into the garden.
The Garden Cottage can accommodate 4 people in 2 bedrooms. The main has a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower over the bath and toilet. The second bedroom has twin beds and a private shower with toilet. The spacious living area is open plan with a fully equipped kitchen. This unit has a private garden of its own.

Very pleasant stay in the spotlessly clean cottage with a lovely garden alive with birds vying for a sip of nectar from the feeder bottle. The cottage is fully equipped with everything one could possibly need, even including tea, coffee, long-life milk and rusks. The perfect hostess was most helpful with information about attractions in the area. She also checked in with us every day to hear if there was anything we needed. We will certainly go back for another visit.
The accommodation at Four Fields Farm was even better than I was expecting. The garden was absolutely stunning, and Ilze, the host, was super friendly and accommodating. There was even a gas stove, which was very useful when load shedding hit. Overall, a lovely place to stay if you are planning a holiday in the area.
We stayed in the garden cottage for two nights so my husband could take part in the Otter Challenge. Ilze went out of her way to accommodate us. We were able to get to our place at 8am so I could start work. I needed stable WiFi to sit and work for two days. I was able to work without any problems even during load shedding. Our place was well appointed. We really couldn't have asked for better. The farm is beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. The location worked well for the drive to the Otter Races.
Ilze is a lovely host who kept us updated with the load shedding schedule as well as restaurants in the area that were showing the rugby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with beautiful views of the mountains. The accommodation far exceeded our expectations.
The house is beautifully presented and comfortable, with great attention to detail. There are lots of thoughtful touches like milk in the fridge, ground coffee for the coffee maker, lights provided for load shedding and a selection of mosquito repellants, from Peaceful Sleep to natural alternatives. The gardens are idyllic and it is a lovely peaceful place to stay.
Ilze is a wonderful host. Her attention to detail, her interest and concern for her guests, her friendliness are exceptional!
We stayed at Four Fields Farm for three nights and thoroughly recommend it. The cottage was extremely comfortable and unbelievably well equipped. Garden lovers will be ecstatic with the grounds. The location is also very nice; quite close to Nature's valley.

The accommodation is without pretension, but one feels comfortable and cosy. Everything is spotless, and rooms are serviced daily. Kitchen is well equipped, and it was nice to even be able to find decent steak knives for the barbecue. Arrange in advance for extra ice. The place should actually be called the Golden Rooster or Golden Rooster, because there is the most beautiful, largest and decent rooster imaginable who comes to greet you curiously and introduce his fat hen mate.

We stayed in Four Field's Farm for 3 nights. Ilze received us very kindly and small details such as Belgian chocolate on the beds and coffee plunger with ground coffee beans make us feel extra welcome and at home. The room was very clean and tidy, with an equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower and bath. The kitchen also opens onto a patio at the back with a braai area where we had a great barbecue! Four Fields Farm is within walking distance of a paddock with a restaurant and delicious fresh baked goods such as pies and bread. It is also only a 10 minute drive to Natures Valley and there are also many attractions in the area. Four Fields Farm offers very nice accommodation in a beautiful piece of nature, we will definitely stay here again!

It's a stunning and neat place. You can switch off and the hostess is wonderful.
The room was lovely and spacious, with a nice view of the mountains. A stone's throw from a lovely paddock, and from Nature's valley. The place has a nice farm feel.
