12 guests' feedbackThis year we celebrated Father's Day and a birthday in Jongensfontein (Frimakin). Frimakin is an exceptional, spacious and well-equipped house. It really has everything one might need. We were blessed with good weather. Next, we spent most of our time on the large deck (in front of the house) enjoying the unbeatable ocean views. Many thanks to Fritz, as well as Debi, for their kind help to make our stay as pleasant as possible.
It's our second time at Frimakin. We have definitely discovered our favorite place and will return every year. That view and wooden deck make it worth it. Thank you Fritz for being so attentive every time to make us feel comfortable and have everything we need.

Everything and more, from arrival everything was in its place, neat and clean. Frimakin is a place where you just pack your food and clothes. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need, from a sharp knife and a large freezer to barbecue grills. I can definitely recommend Frimakin for a short visit up to a month and even longer stays, for 1 person, 2 people or even 8 people. 10/10. Thank you very much.
Frimakin served as our Easter weekend getaway, accommodating two families with young children. The positives of our stay included the location, which offers beautiful views, and a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary amenities. The covered braai area provided a comfortable space protected from the wind and other elements, and the ample rooms ensured that everyone had their own space. In addition, the provision of board games also kept the children busy. Something to be aware of is that there was a noticeable musty smell, possibly due to the fact that it mostly allows. This was not a problem for us and immediately improved after we opened the windows and left them open as far as possible, but could be problematic for someone who is sensitive to such things. Unfortunately, the WiFi was unavailable during our stay, and due to the long weekend it could not be fixed. On a more practical note, we had an incident where one of the children accidentally fell against the wall, and as that section was not built of brick but of "fibre board", he had a hole in the cause wall. Fortunately, there was a nearby builder who was able to tackle the problem after we left, with the owner's approval. Although these minor inconveniences occurred, our stay at Frimakin was pleasant, and provided a relaxing getaway with a few manageable hiccups.
The house offers a beautiful view of the bay and is fully equipped and is very secure. The House is located in a green belt and we saw goats, turtles, various species of birds and even whales from the deck. A muskellunge cat also visited us.
We were a large group of 10 persons and the house was more than spacious enough to accommodate everyone. There was always hot water and the kitchen is very well equipped. The beautiful view made it an unforgettable visit. Thank you very much Fritz for your hospitality. Thank you very much for our nice family visit in your house. Was truly a lovely place to stay with my family. Would love to have had Wi-Fi as the signal can sometimes be a little spotty, but it is a beautiful, peaceful location to be away from everything. The view from the balcony is breathtaking and the kitchen is well-equipped.
Very nice view - hot water with pressure and enough rooms and bathrooms for a large group of people - we were 6 adults. Extremely fast help and very nice and tidy.

Here you just want to kick off your shoes and sit back and relax. The highlight of the house is the lovely large wooden deck which has the most beautiful view of the sea and Jongensfontein. The house has everything you need to enjoy a comfortable, peaceful getaway. There is ample sleeping space for large families. Our host, Fritz, was also very friendly and helpful. We will definitely visit Frimakin again and I recommend it to anyone.
