A cool and refreshing farm swimming pool is available seasonally after a long and hot summer's drive. Three of the units were once a farmhouse built in 1943 and is now converted with style and comfort. A light breakfast in the units, consisting of dry breakfast cereals with milk, is included in the price. Coffee, tea and homemade rusks are regularly available in all units.
Guests can make use of the braai facilities and braai-packs are available at an extra cost.

We were greeted by the owner who greeted us in English and we politely suggested we can also communicate in Afrikaans. She also had a bigger unit available for us from the original one we booked, which I found a great gesture. The dinner and breakfast were great homemade meals. A lot of effort went into the preparation and presentation. We will definitely visit again. The cycle trails were also an added feature.

This was our second time staying at GaMamadi Guest Farm, and once again we were warmly welcomed and received exceptional service. It was cold and raining, and our hostess went out of her way to upgrade us to a bigger unit and ensure our unit was warm. She even brought our dinner to our unit, which we highly appreciated. GaMamadi Guest Farm has everything you need for an overnight stay. We will definitely be back.
I went for a nice 5 km walk on the farm on Saturday evening to stretch my legs, after the long drive. I ate a lovely supper prepared by Anneliese and had a wonderful night's sleep. I left a little later than expected on Sunday, because I had a long, interesting chat with Anneliese and another guest.

The lapa is very sociable. We had a nice time around the fireplace and watched rugby. There is a trampoline, climbing frame, table tennis, pool table and swimming pool to relax after the long drive & to release children's energy. Cottages are well equipped and have nice electric blankets for the winter cold. Was very nice!

We really enjoyed our stay at Gamamadi. We were very kindly received and shown around by Annalise. The room was spacious, beautifully clean and tidy and well furnished. Our springbok pie dinner was delicious. Our toddler really enjoyed the farm animals. We would love to visit again!

We stopped here to break the journey Johannesburg to Cape Town. It is an ideal stopover, being close enough to the N2 so as to not add on any mileage without being so close that you could hear or see it. We enjoyed a pleasant meal on the farm.

Annalize makes a lot of effort with the rooms and there are homemade biscuits and also instant porridge and milk with coffee that we could eat the morning before we left, as well as spices and plates if the guests want to barbecue. Will stay here again.

The accommodation was super neat and has a stunning design. The self-catering braai option for dinner was a winner. It was so nice that everything was set up and we could just sit, relax and enjoy the braai.
Guests in the room next to us came in very late and talked very loudly. I had to go and ask them to be quiet at around 23:00.

With the wind blowing into the chimney inside the room, the previous guests' barbecue smell was a bit disturbing at first. The apartments are also not very well soundproofed. When apartments are not very full, I would suggest that guests are not placed directly next to each other. Otherwise it was a wonderful experience. Traffic from the N1 was also not disturbingly audible. Very beautiful and peaceful! We were received very hospitably. Was very grateful for the breakfast products and biscuits. We would love to stay there again.
Our stay on the farm was a lovely experience. Annalise and her husband did everything they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The room was very well-equipped for self-catering and the "honesty bar" is a nice touch.
We felt the Karoo friendliness and hospitality: everything wonderful! The only aspect that may need to be looked at is the ventilation / draft in our room specifically. Although we were very lucky because it was a cool day it can be nice and warm in the room.
The room was nice and spacious. It was incredibly hot (44° C), despite this the evening was very enjoyable. The home cooked dinner was really something to write home about. The room was spacious and clean and very good value for money. We will definitely stay at GaMamadi again when we make the trip again.
It's clean with lots of space and everything you need. They have up to chops that you can buy with a small self-catering area in my room which already had braai salt and a braai tong. I could just turn up there! There are also nice things to do for the children such as feeding the lambs, but unfortunately I had to get in the way early again.
Would love to visit again. It is thoroughly worth everything and the service you receive there is so indescribable. Accommodation is of great quality and hospitality is of the best.
