We had a wonderful stay. The food was excellent and our host went out of his way to make sure that due to construction work rain damage doesn't bother us. He even treated us to a free dinner and breakfast! The setup is tasteful and I would have liked to stay there even longer.

It would have been worth the rate charged if breakfast was included. R990 per night for an unremarkable room only is a bit much. Was more like a R800 room. It would have been nice if the wifi code was given on arrival, Wasn't given. Didn't ask.
Microwave oven, kettle and cutlery without plates were provided. Dirty cutlery had to be washed in the hand sink as there is no kitchenette. When we arrived there were a lot of mosquitoes behind the curtains. We sprayed the mosquitoes with a can of doom that was provided and then wanted to open the windows, but had to close them again because the flies flew in. Not pleasant.
The stay was good. Everything a bit old but comfortable. Please make the generator right because the very load shedding gave problems.

The guest house is particularly beautiful and very tasteful, full of art, beautiful paintings and decorative items. Very hospitable and you feel at home. The host was very friendly and helpful. We slept over one night on the way home from the Kalahari. Just a recommendation; our flat sheet on our bed was too small for the bed.
We had a very nice stay. What a beautiful place, there is everything you need. Clean, tidy and excellent service. We booked for dinner and got a delicious plate of food with cake for dessert. Will definitely stay there again.

Welcome, hospitable reception. Owner organized safe parking for us despite us towing a large game wagon, then he surprised us with an excellent dinner and added good company. The hostess makes sure you don't leave hungry ─ breakfast was delicious. Open plan kitchen to dining room gives you a touch of European flair. We will visit again for sure!

The accommodation was spacious, comfortable, well maintained and clean. The service was personalised and dispensed with a smile and warm professionalism. The perfect stopover for families and groups of friends travelling between Gauteng and the Northern Cape. The owner told me that they also have a lot of contractors staying over, some even for extended periods. I could see why it would be a preferred spot for all types of travellers.
