Was nice to relax.
We enjoyed our stay and the kids had the time of their lives. Swimming pool signs visible and that was easy for us.
Our room was neat and clean. Environment is very beautiful. Had a delicious breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. The wedding venues are of course also very beautiful.

Mostly. It was just disappointing that no one at the spa called back after I left a message! Now how do you make an appointment? I asked on Friday if the spa was open on Sunday, and got an affirmative email reply. Called after that but the spa then closed one minute ago. The helpful man called me back with a direct phone number. This number just rings, and if you leave a message, no one calls you back. Phew! I was also disappointed that there was no small fridge in the room, and you can't get to the music channel on the TV at all.
The shower was broken, bedside lamps not working, lampstand rickety and rooms and facilities old and outdated. I expected more for the money I paid.
We arrived on the weekend of the 16th of Feb. The room was set up to perfection for a beautiful Valentine's weekend with my partner. However, as we settled in, we realised that there were a few off-putting things, such as the toilet that was practically fitted at a 45-degree angle, making it very uncomfortable to use. The air conditioning settings could not be changed and it needed to be regassed, so our hotel suite was extremely hot as a result of this. On the Saturday evening, we wanted to have some drinks by the pool, so we asked for a bucket of ice, only to be told that they don't have ice. We also wanted to buy a 2-liter/1-liter cold drink, only to be told that we can't, as they don't have it. We wanted fresh towels as the towels in the room had marks and stains, but they couldn't help us with that. All in all, it wasn't a very pleasant experience, so we decided to drive 10 km to buy snacks, cold drinks, ice, and food, as their restaurant's menu is quite pricey and very limited.

It was very nice and very peaceful and there was a lot to do.
We were only able to check in after 9pm and they were very accommodating. The rooms are very nice and the surroundings breathtaking.

Comfortable with a very nice garden and nice rivers, as well as short walking routes.
We would definitely recommend the place, breakfast was super nice. The rooms are neat (a bit old) but not dirty at all. Our request was wrong but the people at the hotel corrected it immediately without any problems. It's definitely a place I would recommend if you fancy a "Girls weekend" in the summer.

Friendly reception and very helpful.
It was easy to find. Directions are clearly marked. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast crockery and cutlery were not clean enough. Cutlery could be cleaner and cups more esp. Soaking them in bleach will do wonders.
Lodge's gardens and ponds need a lot of attention. Rooms also need attention and aircons do not work. The reception staff were not very helpful either. Rooms were not ready after 2pm.
This is a great place to visit, value for money at all times.
We had a really pleasant stay at Glenburn Lodge & Spa. The venue is really beautiful and looks exactly like the photos. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and were also very well trained. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

Advertise small fridge, with large cremation no fridge. Not even a hair dryer. Aircon old and terrible noise and not very effective. Grouting around bath dirty and disgusting. Water damaged cabinet in bathroom. It is hardly 3 star.
This time of the year my wife and I looked forward to using the facilities as advertised online. Jacuzzi was dirty and empty and seemed it was not used in a while. The weather was. not too good and we then opted to use the indoor pool facilities which was not allowed. The spa facilities are ridiculously pricey for basic treatments. We paid much less at a 5 star hotel and spa. The food was bland and the service was not very good. These are the reasons we checked out 1 day earlier. When asked by reception the reason for early checkout. His response was "oh ok" and then proceeded to charge me for a meal we ordered the night before. As company policy dictates absolutely no refunds for any reason. No apology for us being unsatisfied. This place should be a 2 star. As luck would have it we forgot to pack our shower gel and in 3 days the complimentary shower gel was not refilled. The rooms aircon was not working due to no batteries in the remote. We made our way to the nearest shop in the area to get shower gel and batteries for the aircon remote. No complimentary waters in the room. I will not suggest visiting this location.

We took a quick romantic getaway and were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful view just around the corner from the house. Friendly professional staff, luxurious accommodation and all the meals were delicious, tasty with a great variety! Victor, one of the pastry chefs,'s desserts were top notch. We will definitely go again.

Very nice and tidy place. Hotel room only had a shower in it and was generally average. For the price breakfast should be included then it will be worth it.
