We stayed two nights. Everything was clean and tidy, everything worked perfectly. It's a nice peaceful environment, close to main routes.

My sister and I were kindly received and explained well how things work in the unit. Our room was neat and clean and had an outside door with a patio and table and chairs. We were able to have a lovely chat there and drink a glass of wine and enjoy a cheese plate, before we went out to dinner with our sister-in-law that evening. And it was fun!

Wonderful reception by the friendly Glennie. If you are looking for a place to stay in the Somerset West area, Glennies is the place. Extremely neatly equipped.
Walking distance to the shops - a lovely climb when you come back which gave us a lot of fun! We will definitely stay at Glennies again!
We thought the price included breakfast. Glennies B and B is misleading. If you want breakfast it is R100 extra per person.
We did not feel welcome upon arrival. My 1 year old son was with us, and it seems as though the place was not child friendly, although it was not mentioned on the website.
Very nice stay, neat and clean. Will recommend to future travelers.
The Owner/Manager was not around during the day during my first two weeks-she had a FULLTIME JOB-since when she has resigned. The Sitting Out Area had a pool that was not Filtered and eventually fully covered over. The metal loungers were not covered with the result that the whole of the social area was 'anti social'. Having said that the bedroom was excellent and cleaned and well maintained as were the Gardens.
The residence is very private and I like that.
