Very nice sea atmosphere break away to recharge your batteries.
The accommodation had all that we required and more. The addition of the inverter to keep the TV, WiFi and some lights on during load shedding was very welcomed. Overall a lovely place and the host was interactive in sending directions/passwords for WiFi in advance, which ensured we had all info before we got there. Would definitely recommend.
Great place to stay, safe environment and would return again anytime. Quiet environment and food for your soul. Everything needed is provided. All the time power and WiFi was a huge bonus.

Visited in a beautiful clean house. The house is clean, spacious, TV with DSTV. Rooms are spacious with plenty of closets. Kitchen and living room just beautiful. Braai area is off the books. Will definitely book there again for a next time.
Other than the few things we had to take, like personal bathroom goods and food, the house has more than enough utensils. There is so much more, like games, TV, etc. A wonderful house.

We were very kindly received by the lady at the main gate of Pearly Beach resort. The keys to the cottage and our motor vehicle's "tag" were ready. Upon arrival at the cottage, everything was very neat and clean and we felt right at home. The cottage is excellently equipped with everything you could need. Everything we used worked. Shortly after arrival, the DStv was also switched on. Getting to the sea was also very easy. A neat path connects the resort and the beach. Many thanks to Pieter (owner) for his excellent service and that we could easily contact him by mobile phone if we should experience any problems. My wife and I can recommend this holiday cottage with the utmost confidence!
For our pensioners it is affordable. The location by the sea is great for walking on the beach. Place is neat with everything you need. Will definitely go again to enjoy the peace and quiet.

The house is outfitted with everything you need. All the gardens in the vicinity are carefully tended too. A few shrubs/flowers at Glipsie will add to the house's exterior.

It was fantastic, top notch. On the beach you could see whales, the sea and beach were clean. The environment is peaceful, calm and the best medicine to break away for a weekend or holiday with family, friends etc. The people are friendly, children can play in the streets, reminds me of the old days that it is safe to play in the streets. The shop there has everything you need and the hospitality of the permanent people who live there is fantastic.

Ideal for a getaway. While you are grilling you hear the waves in the background and birds flying around. The unit has everything you need. There is a shop nearby that also stocks everything, if there is anything you would forget or need. Very cute place. Very peaceful environment.

House is equipped with als, which makes the break so much more enjoyable. House was neat and clean when we arrived. Amazing place for friends, a family or even 2 couples. The sea is only a few minutes away. Air was a bit cold in the evening due to the sea being so close. In the summer it will be even better! Wonderful place. Wonderful people in the area.
Glipsie By Die See is a fully equipped two-bedroom house with al the necessary facilities that you could need for a quick or longer getaway. It is in a very safe, peaceful and quiet resort and walking distance from the beach. We experienced a lot of rain and wind during our time there with the result that we spent most of our time indoors, which we could use to watch Wimbledon tennis and other sport on the TV. We can wholeheartedly recommend Glipsie By Die See.
The cottage is very comfortable for four people, with a well-equipped kitchen and nice barbecue area. It is only a short walk to the sea. The beach and surroundings are beautiful! It was a lovely, peaceful getaway weekend for our family.

Just what we needed, peace and quiet. The sea is walking distance and my son really enjoyed it. The area is quiet and very safe. We had a great time at Glipsie By Die Dee. It was neat and clean and well equipped. The free Wi-Fi helped a lot for the rainy days. Nice close to the beach. We as a family really enjoyed it and will use the accommodation again in the future.

We had a wonderfully comfortable and safe stay at Glipsie. Our children are small and because the yard is closed we could relax without worrying about their safety. The cottage has everything and more to really just bring your own clothes and towels. It was very pleasant for us. Just a few things that made our stay pleasant: Well-equipped kitchen with everything imaginable, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer and laundry basket, Wi-Fi, DSTV and a fenced yard.
Glipsie By Die See is a very comfortable place. Everything needed was available. Neat and clean. No mushy, worn through or thin sponge mattresses! Living room sofa cushions still very comfortable! Porch with built-in braai nice place to hang out. Many thanks also to Pieter for turning on the DStv for us. My husband couldn't go to the beach because knee hurts and it helped a lot to be able to watch TV. The WiFi also came in very handy. The whole resort is beautiful and clean. The store also has just about everything you could possibly need. Really enjoyed it and will definitely return.

The cottage was very clean, tidy, well furnished, everything we needed and more. The braai area was nice and sheltered from the wind. The children enjoyed the board games and swing ball. The WiFi and DStv were a bonus. Beds were also very comfortable and mattresses firm. The little shop was nice and close and a walk to the sea also close enough. Safe for children to ride bikes and play outside. Overall we were very happy.

Lovely place for a getaway, good value for money!
This is our second time at Glipsie By Die See, but this time we took our children with us. And I can't describe how much they enjoyed it. Just hearing the waves in the background is very nice. We will definitely go again.
The children enjoyed themselves so much that we hardly saw them and they made friends with other children and had fun playing. We also met new friends and had a barbecue together and had a nice chat. The people who live there permanently are very friendly and gave us advice on where to go and where there are good fishing spots and warned us where not to go. Will go there again, it's nice and quiet.

Really enjoyed the place, wife could do laundry, children could watch their DStv and father could take his brannas. What more do you want. People in the resort are friendly, drive slowly, children ride bikes without worrying, the sea is around the corner, 2 minutes' walk. Everything, everything is there, just bring food, bedding and towel, the rest is really all there.

The owners really put effort into equipping the accommodation to ensure that everything one could possibly need (and then some) is available for use. This place was so neat and clean on arrival. We will definitely stay here again.
We really enjoyed staying at Glipsie. It had everything we needed, from spices to a pot for preparing potjiekos. Full DStv is provided, but the kids barely watched TV since they were on the beach the entire day. The also really enjoyed walking to the park and riding their bicycles seeing as the area is so calm and safe. The beds were super comfortable - often the beds at these kinds of places are uncomfortable, but we slept so soundly. We are definitely planning to stay here again since it is comfortable and pleasant.

It was the first time we stayed at a real pet-friendly place with a fenced yard so that the dogs could stay outside if you want to go somewhere.

The beach house is very neat and well furnished for visitors and vacationers. However, the community is very middle-aged and pensioners and there must be silence at all times, not suitable for young people or people who like to visit and chat. I can recommend the holiday home for people aged 50+. The house itself was wonderfully equipped from a dishwasher to a washing machine and a full DStv package.
This is a little hidden gem! We really enjoyed our time so much, my little boy had a ball! Literally equipped with everything you need, and fully fenced so it was safe for my son to play outside (thanks for the swing-ball we had a view good laughs). The peaceful environment and beautiful nature is just what you need for a relaxing weekend! And the little local shops sells absolutely everything! I also want to thank Pieter for his friendliness and hospitality. We will definitely be back and I will recommend it.

Very cute little house in a safe resort and walking distance from the beautiful beach. Father and mother can relax wonderfully while the children enjoy the beach, cycle and play with the other children in the resort. The house is very neat and has everything you need. There is a very cute shop in the resort if you might have forgotten something or fancy a nice ice cream. We will definitely want to visit Glipsie again. It is excellent value for money.

We enjoyed the peace and quiet, and the sound of the waves breaking on the beach was very soothing. The house is very well appointed with all that one needs readily available. The beach is a 5 minute walk away and very private, beautiful and in pristine condition - excellent for a long and enjoyable walk.
A quiet weekend in the most beautiful Pearly Beach! The best part was that our little dog could come along. The people in Pearly Beach are so friendly and make you feel at home very quickly. House rules
The accommodation uses solar panels and has some relief from load-shedding. Naturally, certain high-demand electricity items like the oven, geysers, dishwashers and microwaves still do not work during load shedding.Breakage deposits are refunded back into your own account within 48 / 72 hours of your departure.
No smoking is allowed inside the house, but guests are most welcome to smoke outside on the undercover stoep and braai area.
Linen and bedding are included, but guests must provide their own towels.
Guests attempting to bring along more than 4 guests without the owner's consent will be evicted without any refund for the duration of the booking period.
Guests must provide copies of their SA IDs/ Passports and proof of residence with each booking made.
We have a strict no-guest change policy for Sundays and the last day of long weekends. This allows guests booking for a normal or long weekend to only depart by 17h00.
