Friendly staff, extremely quiet, great rooms, very clean. I would definitely recommend for anyone going to stay in this area. It's cheaper than a hotel and also you can enter/exit the premises as you wish.
If you are an animal lover, this is a paradise with a whole zoo of rehabilitated animals. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and the sea an easy 3 minute walk away.

We stayed in the outside room with access to the back garden. We very much enjoyed watching the animals from our comfy bed in the morning: buck, mongoose, birds etc.
Hospitality was great. The place is very peaceful and you can relax very nicely in the garden, braai area and around the pool. The rooms have a very romantic feel so I would recommend it for a married couple or two people who just need an affordable romantic getaway.

Cleanliness in Goblin's Creek's rooms is average. I felt that supervision of cleaning staff by owner was missing. Bathrooms for example were not cleaned thoroughly every day. I stayed for 5 nights. The rehabilitation of injured animals is applaudable. The garden is kept clean at all times. However, due to the many open ponds there is a myriad of mosquitoes at night. Rooms are not furnished with mosquito nets or gauze in front of windows. I had to spray the room every night with poison and had to keep the windows and door closed during the night. Never had any fresh air in the room which was awful.
Would definitely recommend Goblin's Creek. You are welcomed with open arms and the atmosphere is very peaceful there.
As a plus, the owners also run a small animal rehabilitation program. It was a wonderful experience to see the animals and birds and especially how much compassion and love they have for the animals. Very pleasant owners and very pleasant guest house to stay. Definitely recommend it.
What a beautiful, unexpected place. Our bedroom was beautifully decorated. Rosi and her husband are such lovely people. You can tell by all the exciting animals in the garden that they are kind-hearted folk. Thank you for such a lovely stay. We would recommend and would go back.
Upon our arrival we were warmly welcomed and luggage was carried to our room. Room was nice and clean and backyard created a farm atmosphere with all the animals that were there.

Even though we only stayed for one night, we really enjoyed our stay at Goblin's Creek! The directions are very clear, our garden room was clean and comfortable, service was also really good. The kitchen is great and has anything you might need. We particularly loved all the rescued animals in the garden, and the tree house, which was an amazing place to read a book while watching the sun set on the ocean. Would definitely recommend and would also go back!
Rosi and Rob were friendly and made sure we were comfortable. The rooms are spacious and very luxurious. Good value for money and the animals and surrounding environment were a delight. They see us again.
We had a nice stay here after a long journey. The owners were very hospitable and the accommodation is beautiful.
I was not impressed at all. The kitchen must be shared with all the guests even if you stay in the Garden Room which is not in the house at all. Bed linen was not the cleanest I have ever experienced and did not smell fresh at all. Beds in the Garden Room are also terribly uncomfortable. The house itself inside the front room is not clean and fresh to me either. When you pay that much money you want convenience. Not necessarily luxury. Bathroom in the Garden Room also has no doors. It is mostly couples who stay there and like everyone, you are looking for some privacy.

We had a great time relaxing. Comfortable accommodation in a quiet, pleasant atmosphere. Neat living and dining areas with a beautiful garden. We are already busy planning for our next break in the new year.
Our hosts made us feel at home, the accommodation was top class and our every comfort was anticipated. It was nice having the use of the kitchen as a self-catering option. We will definitely be back.

The old fashioned bath in the bedroom is just very impractical.
We were welcomed warmly by the staff member on duty who showed us to our rooms and made us familiar with the establishment. We were later welcomed by the owners. Beautiful four poster beds and free standing bath with hand held shower (would have preferred a shower cubicle). Great attention to detail in rooms (chocolate on pillow and rose petals on bed) as well as lounge & outdoor areas. Beautiful gardens and lots of animals...cat, chickens geese & tortoise.The owners were not quite prepared to serve us breakfast. However a good experience. Would recommend.

Being greeted with animals as you drive into Goblin's Creek was wonderful. Absolutely amazing atmosphere and as an animal lover the place was ideal! Very nice room and slept very well.
The braai room could perhaps be renovated a bit.
We were not impressed. The rooms do not have TVs. It's near fish factory. No breakfast. If you want to eat or drink something you have to help yourself. The sheets were not clean. The room was clean though. There is a bathroom in the bedroom. No privacy.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Goblins Creek.
Everything in and around the house is just the best. Brett and Rosi are two wonderful, hospitable people and very helpful. I do want to mention that many of the facilities are shared, so if you are a very private person, this may not be ideal. It is very centrally located and we could really visit the whole West Coast from there.
Had a great stay but would have preferred the bathroom to have a shower.

For R700 per night I at least expected breakfast, as other people paid between R450 and R500 and got breakfast ─ especially in such a desolate place where you are not close to shops. I was told I could eat porridge but there was no milk?
Area where it is situated is not great. It is not in Shelley Point. The breakfast was poor. The living area needs cleaning. The kitchen and living room is open plan, it's just not standard for a guest house.
