However, there is only a bath in the units and no shower. If we wanted to change something, it would be that there would be a shower instead of a bath.

The unit has everything one needs for a weekend getaway. The owners have thought of everything!
Your service was excellent, the accommodation was five-star, we really enjoyed the weekend at Granny Mac's Self-catering, the place was clean and the chocolate on each bed was a great bonus. The private place where we can braai and just relax was really special. I would recommend your place to anyone. We will definitely stay with you again. Dienette, thank you for your kindness and that we could stay a few hours longer on Sunday, and what was a bonus for us, is that we got a parking spot for our boat. You're awesome. Thanks for an amazing weekend.
Drienette was so friendly. Kit-Kats on the beds and milk in the fridge were welcome. Stylish decor and everything we needed in a neat, intimate family unit. Thanks Granny Mac.
The unit is beautiful, elegant and neatly furnished. There is a lovely large bath to relax in. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a lovely meeting and braai area that can be used. The welcome was friendly and warm.

The only place to stay when visiting Velddrif. A beautiful, peaceful and well-appointed room which is well equipped with every amenity under the sun to make your stay great. Attention to detail was perfect and the entire unit was spotlessly clean! The hosts, Braam and Drienette were most welcoming and accommodating. They were great hosts and went out of their way to make sure my two night stay was perfect. I highly recommend Granny Mac's Self-Catering Guest House for your stay in Velddrif. Very clean, well equipped accommodation with more than one expects to find at self-catering accommodation. Iron, ironing board, pegs, coffee, tea, milk, sugar. The extra bits like a chocolate for each person on the ribbon and rose wrapped towels just add a great feel to the stay. Drienette and Braam give a personal friendly touch to the welcome when you arrive and leave. Peaceful, quiet and safe accommodation with just a short walk to Bokkom Laan and the lagoon. We booked "Grace" and "Peace" cottages for our family stay and were very pleased with what we found. I'd recommend Granny Mac to everyone who wants value for money and a stay in great accommodation.

We stayed over at Granny Macs Self-catering Guesthouse for a wedding. The accommodation was affordable, safe and central, so would recommend.
Friendly reception, room neat and clean with all necessary amenities, good security, value for money. Well located near Bokkom Avenue.
