Green Valley Lodge is located right in the heart of Wonderboom South a suburb of Pretoria, nestled below the Wonderboom Nature Reserve one of Pretoria's popular Heritage sites. There are 13 individually and uniquely designed rooms with the décor emphasising African themes throughout. The rooms have either a double-, queen-, twin or king- size beds all with luxurious en-suite bathrooms and a private entrance. All bathrooms have showers with our premiere rooms having corner baths as well.
Guests can either enjoy a sunset drink at the pool while listening to the relaxing sound of the waterfall or choose a quiet spot in the gardens where they will be serenaded by the extensive bird life which frequents the lodge. For the more active or fitness fanatic, there is the convenience of a gym on the premises, after which a dip in the sparkling blue pool will certainly refresh one after a busy day. For the less active, a game of indoor pool can be equally as relaxing or simply relaxing in the shade of the willow tree in the romantic garden.
Our conference facility seats up to 50 delegates and can cater to your individual needs. A smaller boardroom for up to 10 delegates is also available.

The room was very neat and clean. For the price the shower was too small and the mattress of the bed was totally done for a first class guest house.
No one answered a phone or cellphone or WhatsApp or the gate intercom (home or guesthouse) at 12:14 I wanted to find out if it would be possible to book in 2 hours earlier if possible. We left and drove around till 14:00. When we arrived-same thing. No answer anywhere. I phoned the website, the guy say to phone me back. 5 minutes later the lady appears-no apology. Gave the website the guilt for our booking not on the system, but I communicated with the guesthouse on 20/12/22. The room was neat but the service was pathetic.
The area scares off a first time visitor quite a bit as there are quite a few empty buildings.

The guest house is very well located and safe. I was very impressed with the service of the owner who informed me in advance how my check-in would go and the directions to the place were very helpful. The place has a very peaceful atmosphere and everything needed was in the room. I was also surprised with the fact that they upgraded me to a more luxurious room, without my asking for it.

Clean, neat rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Went out of their way to assist with transport to hospital. Breakfast very tasty. Unfortunately not wheelchair friendly at all.
Room was small. Very basic. No door between the toilet and bedroom. This is not comfortable as a couple with one undergoing medical treatment and needing to use the toilet a lot. Small windows, room was cold. Heaters were not that adequate. Lighting in the passage way and staircase is bad. Both of us left here with flu.
Room was neat and clean, safe parking, good friendly service and on top of that the breakfast was very nice.

The place is beautiful! It has a complete home feeling and it's very quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed the place and the view from our balcony was magical every morning. The breakfast was top notch. In all honesty, this was one of the best guesthouses I have ever visited. I would go back again anytime. Thank you very much!
Beautiful garden and rooms have enough privacy for work in the evening. My stay was quiet and peaceful.
The TV was not working and I couldn't get reception. Ideally we wanted to stay indoors and just relax and watch TV on a Sunday, but we couldn't get help because phone just rang on it's own. Caretaker rushed us because she needed to go to a family meeting. How unprofessional.
Poor advance communication. Upon arrival, the room booked according to the email was locked. The person who indicated she was available for help did not answer her phone. I booked for two groups of adults - one group with 3 children. On arrival there were only 2 beds for the 3 children (which was rectified after complaint). There were only 2 towels for 5 people (which was not corrected after complaints). Rooms were acceptable though. Next to the pool, other guests sat and relaxed with drinks and loud music.
It is close to the hospitals and no need to drive too far. The reception was good and the room has everything you need. The room is beautiful and nothing is missing, we slept well and the reception was very helpful.
We really enjoyed it, were just too short and we loved the shower!
