Only spent one night, will definitely be back again. The only thing some guests might complain about is the gravel roads leading to the establishment, it needs some attention. We were in a bakkie so it was okay (might also have been all the rain).
Beautiful and comfortable little house, friendly hosts.
Groeneweide has the best of the farm effect with mountains in the background and fynbos, with the sea in front of you. The house is incredibly nicely furnished and you feel at home and the large veranda with braai is wonderful with a view of the pond and the sea. Wonderful stay and place so neat, it was a privilege to stay there. Was an awesome visit in a beautiful place with fynbos and farm atmosphere - rested wonderfully. Just had to stay longer but will next time. Thank you, Groeneweide. You have a winning recipe! Will visit again. Thank you very much.
Very nice place, neat. We had a nice time. Maybe just needs a TV in the living area. The scenery and view, one side against the mountains and in front of the porch to the sea is really beautiful. Safe for kids and we really enjoyed it. I'm really full of nonsense and the place will definitely see me again. Thank you, Malthilda, for your hospitality.
Wonderful house, perfectly in nature. Close enough to the nearest towns, far enough to feel away from anyone else. Great hike from our doorstep. Kind and helpful hosts. Even the chickens that woke us up at sunrise did keep quiet after about 10 mins.
Groeneweide is very centrally located. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The house was beautifully furnished and very clean and tidy. Beautiful hiking trails on the farm, and a cute restaurant with good food and very reasonable prices! We really enjoyed staying there and will definitely be back in the future if we vacation in that direction again.
Fantastic modern farm cottage. Parkrun, restaurant. There is no need to leave the farm. Books to read in front of the fireplace. Just remember to bring your own milk and a laptop if you want to watch TV programs. The internet was fast enough to stream.
