The place is clean and tidy and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Responded immediately to any queries, everything was in place for a peaceful stay. Great service, very friendly gentleman to help you with any queries or recommendations. Amazing view and absolute tranquillity. 10 - 15 min drive from the Spar, ocean and the Collared Kingfisher Hiking trail. Highly recommend a stay at Hakuna Mtata. Look forward to going back.
It's a special place with a very nice view.
The stay was good. Please send in the future directions of the accommodation. We had a lot of trouble getting there and had to contact the owner frequently for directions.

The cottage was beautiful. We really enjoyed the outdoor shower. It was refreshing on the hot days. The view of the sea, between the hills, was breathtaking. The little girls who came to say hello every morning were very cute. We found the "lopsided" glasses very amusing.

I booked a room with a double bed and a single bed. We only received a room with a double bed. Guests at least given another room, free of charge. It shouldn't have been a problem to begin with.

Very very nice, clean, beautiful view, peaceful, absolutely just fantastic. Would be nice if there was a bigger fridge in room 2, especially if you are staying 2 or more nights, because there are nice braai facilities.
The location is absolutely fantastic beautiful and safe. Celestine is wonderful. Everything one needs and more.
Only problem is that the 2 units are adjacent and that you can hear everything from the guests next door. This was especially a problem for us, because you didn't want to put your TV too loud, so that you don't disturb them and at 70 you don't hear so well anymore.

The owners are not friendly and the room is dusty and dirty. The throws and rugs were very dirty. The fridge had old grime on the outside. The price far exceeds the actual premises. The chair had very old dust on it.
We were accommodated earlier than the check-in time. It was clean, spacious and enjoyable. Beautiful gardens. Lovely outdoor area.
Place has a super awesome view, of both mountains/valleys and the sea! Dead quiet, that's what one looks for in Wilderness in the first place. Monkeys, goats and goats came to visit, just came right up to the cottage, we were in the cottage, and it was nice and spacious and had such a real wood smell, perfect! Thank you Monica!
Hakuna Mtata was a very nice getaway in an excellent area. On a nice misty morning it is breathtaking.

Very nice welcome. Thank you, Monica. The premises are very well equipped with a beautiful patio overlooking the lawn, sea and bush. Right next door are the Nyala which is a bonus. The walks are very nice in the bush or with sea views. We met many interesting people who live in the area.

Very neat with a beautiful view and a very peaceful environment. The amenities were completely adequate. Friendly and professional reception. The two units so directly next to each other were a bit of a nuisance.
The accommodation and facilities were excellent. The service of Celestine too. However, the privacy of the unit is a problem, which can be rectified with little effort.
We had a great time there, quiet, pretty and neat with friendly people. Thank you very much, we will come again.
Well received by manager, Celestine who explained all there was to know. Found room to be very comfortable with king-size bed, very nice bathroom with luxurious bath towels, very comfortable all round. One suggestion is to provide Rooibos tea for refreshments as well.

The room was an adequate size with convenient kitchenette facilities. However we struggled to find the property from town and the dirt road to get there was long. Tried to call the contact number for directions a few times but no answer. Eventually found it.
As a single parent with a teenage daughter, this was the right place to improve our relationship with each other. "Stefan" the horse was the highlight of our stay for my daughter. If anyone is looking for tranquility away from the city's noise, Hakuna Mtata is the right place to spend time with loved ones.

When you hear the forest birds in the morning you realise you've stumbled on a little piece of heaven. We were surrounded by mountains the sea and sounds of nature. We loved the crisp bed linen and the comfortable lounge with fabulous big screen. The kitchen had everything you needed, the knives were sharp, crockery pretty. A real home away from home.

On the website it sounds great, but nowhere is it mentioned that this wonderful bush experience includes that bathrooms are far away and you have to walk through mud to get there. Road also not suitable for normal vehicles and thank goodness we went with 4x4. Neatly furnished but that's it. Sorry but no.
The cabin is an old little farmhouse which was beautifully restored with wooden floors. It is not on the same property as the Hakuna Mtata units, it is on another property. Nice and clean bedding and lovely beds to sleep on. The family didn't feel safe as it is very remote.

We just had a quick sleep over, on our way to Jeffreys from the Cape. Arrived there late at night and was welcomed by Celeste. Place was clean and tidy, just what we wanted. Beautiful location. Thank you very much.
Neat, clean, comfortable accommodation. The only shortcoming was a TV.
Everything was pleasant. We didn't realise the place was so far away from restaurants though and thus we weren't really prepared for that. Because we were so tired, we just snacked on what we had with us and went to bed early. We had a good night's sleep.
We were a bit shocked about the "off the grid living", which was not mentioned on the web page, but the experience was definitely good and an experience. It's a cute little place and Monica was very helpful and friendly
