17 guests' feedbackIt was a great getaway! Excellently equipped, everything one needs. Hours of enjoyment for the children in the river. Shallow enough for a 4 year old to walk in nicely. We could see the children playing from our barbecue area, which was fantastic. We will definitely be back.
We enjoyed the peace and view incredibly. We will definitely recharge our batteries on Haze Vlakte again.

The place is rather remote but really amazing if your plan is to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Just remember to pack extra fresh sealed bottled water for drinking, brushing teeth, etc.
Would have enjoyed a TV as we were there for 4 nights and the weather didn't allow anything. At least we could enjoy the indoor barbecue. Just need a new grill, old one is very rusty. The shower heads gave problems on day 1 and water pressure was very poor. Water also not drinkable. Karen immediately attended to it. Other than that, no problems, very peaceful and beautiful with all the animals walking around!
Beautiful view of the river, tubes to float on the river, large lawn in front of the units where we played volleyball. Linda was an outstanding manager. She was very helpful, easy to communicate with. The units were well equipped.

We really enjoyed the weekend and there is plenty of space for the children to play outside. The house has everything you need.
Beautiful places. We rented 4 units for whole family. Everyone could hang out at the common area, but also had the privacy of their own unit.
We had the most amazing, relaxing break on the farm. The quiet peacefulness was exactly what we were looking for. Our only company was the chickens, the cows and sheep. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming. Everything we needed was provided. We will definitely visit again with family and friends and make use of the canoe and bicycles which is also available for guests to use.
Beautiful setting with the river on your doorstep.
Lovely chalet, bigger than most we have stayed in. Clean, comfy and equipped with everything one needs. They offer tubes, rowboats and bikes for enjoyment too, which is such a nice touch. Lovely, relaxing views. Only downfall was the water. Although clean, it is very brown and somewhat off putting for us spoilt city folk.
It had been very nice near the river. We fished, swam, quad biked and canoed. The owners had everything available on site. The kids enjoyed it a lot. With the beaches and other places being closed it worked out perfectly for us.
Great barbecue and fishing.
Was a nice visit. The house was well equipped and neat and clean. It must be very nice in the summer to stay there. The farm is very central and we visited all the villages in the area. Many thanks to Karen for her hospitality.
Can rest well and children can play on the large areas on the farm, cycle and just be a child. If you want to rest and relax this is the place for you. Friendly people, unit is beautiful and everything you need is there. 100% worth it. Will go back again.
