We stayed for 6 nights and enjoyed the quiet and relaxed environment that was set up for our breakaway. Perfect location, a safe area and the name says it all "Hier Rus Ons".
Accommodation for 4 adults and 2 children. Had a wonderful stay. Everything you need is there. We just missed a cutting board. Maybe a gas duster would be a good idea for load shedding.

Hier Rus Ons says it all. A wonderful, amazing place needless to say perfect place if you would like a break away from your own home. Well-equipped, feels like your own home with all u need there. Value for money, definitely yes. Customer service is wonderful but small areas need attention. The home is fresh and clean on arrival. Location - peaceful area, great area if you would like to have a break with a pool on your doorstep, not many attractions in the area. Safety cameras surround the property but my only concern would be the big gate if you don't know how to operate it then the person would be rolling it off the rail. Luckily we got the idea of it on day 1 and remembered how to operate it, that is my main concern, that's a bit dangerous. But what I can say once again, is it's a wonderful, amazing place away from your home but it feels like your own home. You're private on your own, and well-equipped, what you see in the pictures is exactly what you get on arrival, which is amazing. Thank you, Hier Rus Ons. We will definitely be back.

It was great. We had an awesome long Easter weekend. Place was beautiful. It felt like my own house.
On the owner's yard. Nice cozy and private. Owners very hospitable. One of the beds has already been hollowed out, make another mattress. Shower and toilet can get curtain for partitioning.
We stayed there for about 4 days, it was wonderful. Everything was there that we needed. It was exactly our home away from home. Thank you.
The name of the place, says it all. Very quiet place to go to when you want to be peaceful and relaxing.
Upon entering, there was not a nice smell. There was no wifi reception and the TV channels are pathetic. No movie channel. The large bedroom with 3 beds has the one bed against the wall whose mattress has completely collapsed in the middle. The other bed in front of the window's apricot blanket that had been washed reeked of cat urine. The pillows are also terribly hard. The sink and shower were clogged so the shower had to be stopped every now and then so the water could run out. The pots were also rusted and could not be used. The front gate comes off the track when you open it. Outside it stinks of caturines.
Definitely worth the money. We really enjoyed the place. Would just like to enjoy a private braai spot.

The location is fantastic. everything is within 25 km to drive. Shops in 5 minutes from accommodation. People very friendly.

Only thing that the place still needs is an iron. There too was a pool at the back but one did not know if people were allowed to swim there but overall a very nice and decent place.
